I enjoyed how the red wings collected themselves and dominated but I with McCollum would've been tested more to see what he can do. Or at least face more shots to inflate his stats. -

I've seen someone post something saying that Kindl hasn't been moved yet because Holland isn't actively trying to. I tend to believe that because Kindl is one of our few "assets" were Holland would be fine with trading as part of a package. To me that makes the most sense because Kindl is so redundant on the team that trading him alone for a late pick would make sense. -

I think what you're trying to say is Brodeur should be our starter, not back up Mrazek. Also by NOOOOOOOZZZZZ you think the best move Holland could make is to get Brodeur by trading Howard, Kronwall and a first. -

It's kind of ridiculous to even suggest it given Mrazek has better numbers than Brodeur, has started almost as many games as him and we would be getting Monster back soon -

I'm wondering if we find a good top pair rh dman if we should offer Ericsson. GMs are likely laughing at the idea of getting Kindl in return who hasn't even had some consistency. Ericsson is struggling a bit too but he has a lot more experience and might be more enticing. -
I have noticed that Weiss isn't quite as dominant as before the last injury. Maybe it's what line he's on or maybe he's worried being aggressive will just put him back in the press box.

Thanks that helps me understand but still seems kind of harsh when Weiss doesn't take a lot of penalties. The stats I've looked at on NHL.com say he has 4 PIM. That's not bad for at all for 18 games played

I'm not sure how Babcock can think he is effectively using Weiss on the fourth line. Yes Weiss has improved his defense but he has was more upside on offense than Miller or even Franzen in most games.

I agree it would be good to bring up a pure scorer but I think if Holland planned on bringing up a kid he would end up skipping him for Mantha just to get a look at what he can do in the NHL

I think regulation wins should be 4 points where in overtime the winner gets 3 and the loser 2 then for the shootout the winner gets 2 and the loser 1. More motivation to finish the game before the shootout

I can understand that trading for Petry has an inherent risk but it would have to come at a better price than the other talked about option of Tyler Myers. We would have that out with Petry's contact ending

I think if the offense can work like it did against Ottawa we won't have any problems. Anderson was looking like a brick wall in the beginning but they found ways to get pucks in by putting forty shots on goal.

One thing I've noticed is that Zetterberg hasn't made his presence felt much this year. On the power play he seems to be more or less looking for the pass instead of taking it to the net which could be that he isn't 100%
