I don't think it's a massive overpayment necessarily. You have to have him under contract to get a better return for him if Holland decides to trade him. -

Now they're saying that the other players didn't like him because he was a longer and that contributed to the trade. I don't care how annoyed you get, you don't trade a very close to star player for picks that are not a guarantee unless he's starting fights or something more serious.

Unfortunately he was used as a checker because Babcock saw a big body and said power forward but I think I see him as more of a playmaker that could learn a lot from Datsyuk

It isn't Weiss's fault they have him so much money and wasn't played. Up until he became a turnover machine he was someone who should've had way more minutes.
