Do you not watch the wings games, I can recall a few games from 14-15 where he carried the wings, How is it that he'll never be a number one goalie or elite? Can you see into the future? I can also recall many times where his aggressive style stopped great high percentage chances, I'm convinced you very rarely watch the wings or at least the games Mrazek has played, I also remember when Carey Price was getting lit up and allowing an insane amount of goals in his first few seasons just like Petr just like any rookie goalie.

Hopefully we can keep both, we definitely need to shed two contracts within the next year, not including Richards or Quincey.

Most of those goalies you are referring to play for powerhouse teams(Rantaa, Jones, Dubnyk, Talbot), with decent to amazing defenseman you barely see them carry a team with s***ty defenseman like Mrazek did a few times last season, he doesn't need to be in the ahl he dominated in GR, he needs to round out his game in the nhl because there is nothing left for him in GR, too me he's like Carey Price(not talking about play style) if he reaches his full potential he'll be able to carry us much like Carey carries Montreal it's going to take time but I guarantee you he will be a number one goalie in this league as long as he doesn't do anything stupid, Jimmy Howard is more like a Corey Crawford he doesn't have the team in front of him to win tho.

Yeah seriously I could live off 1 million for the rest of my life and probably still have a small family maybe me or my wife would have to get a part time job, you just have to be smart with your money. I bet its very expensive to stay in those big Canadian cities especially since the players are out buying million dollar homes..

Weiss had 25 points in about 50 games last year I don't think that's terrible, especially when you consider where Babs played him sometimes and did he ever get a chance to center a line here? I can't remember

He had a good and bad stretches last year just like Howard except he bounced back, Howard just continued to play like crap after he returned but yeah he is way took inconsistent and he played great for 6/7 games in the playoffs but he's way too inconsistent, Had better numbers than Howard but yeah he's way too inconsistent just shut the hell up he's not a train wreck yes he needs to find some consistency and be a little less aggressive but he still played better than our starting goalie who makes 5+ mil a year the kid is fine he's going to work with the trainers and all that inconsistency crap will be history by this time next year when Howard is Hopefully Traded so we can get some cap relief and keep all of our players then once Datsyuk is off the books the year after that we'll be way under cap That wasn't directed at anybody but stop ragging the kid jeez he was just as good as Howard and he always bounced back lots of goalies go through bad stretches it's a regular thing.

I forgot to mention Mantha but honestly that's a little over kill.. Look at what Kessel went for how much can they realistically expect to get for a Hall/RNH/Eberle?

That would be a good trade for the Oilers if it's a 1st idk why they wouldn't take it but I'd rather have RNH than Hall. I'm talking about the one Kip mentioned, I really like Sheahan but I'd like this trade Sheahan Sproul Smith and Howard and a 1st/2nd rounder for RNH Talbot and a 3rd or 4th round pick

Mrazek had better numbers than Howard in the regular season even with his struggles, and he was amazing in the playoffs, damn near beat Tampa on his own yes he had one bad game I think game 2 or 3 when he got pulled! And even Babs said it wasn't his fault just our crappy defense and he continued to start every game after that, expect a 50-52 30-32 split depending on how each of them plays. If Howard isn't playing in the playoffs next year then I guess we know who will be traded in the next offseason.

20-30 games for Mrazek even if he doesn't steal the number one job

15-25 hopefully he gets lots of power play time, he's a third line scorer for now but honestly the sky is the limit if he can get the ice time this kid has an amazing shot I'd like to see him become a star here he really is an exciting player.

I wouldn't say an average offense puts up 3 goals a game lol a good offense does, an average offense won't put 2-3 goals up in the post season aka Montreal
