You know I'm watching the gold game. Don't want to tho
-
Greenway is going in the 1st round.
-
Yeah I'd peg Sproul to fail out of those three
-
That entire blues roster could've helped it's not like they are even relevant in the playoffs, Parise Suter? Did they go I'm not sure I actually don't know if any players from either team went after they lost but it's upsetting, having two rookie centers who haven't played a single nhl game, one hasn't even been drafted yet they are both playing, yet I wouldn't care but the fact is we didn't really have much to support those rookies, a weak back end a ROOKIE goalie, it's frustrating.
-
It's embarrassing, first we get smacked in the Olympics now we have to take down the mighty Jagr and still it's only for bronze.
-
US didnt even have a good team, it's annoying like they didn't want to win.
-
They had a article on it on mlive.com I think.

Sound ng like it's either Detroit or Buffalo at this point, Dylark better shutdown Malkin http://www.nhl.com/ice/m_news.htm?id=767855 -
He's not some offensive dynamo and he isn't amazing defensively so how is he better than Sheahan lol? He sucks at face offs is a big body but doesn't hit a lot and he's Swedish so he probably won't even like to shoot, and he wasn't playing with scrubs in Boston he was with Loui for most of the season.
-
I bet he had more minutes and pp time than Sheahan did unless he was injured or something, Babs used him to kill penalties and I didn't see him get a lot of offensive zone starts either.Soderberg isn't going to make us a better team lol, one he's not a second line center and two he Tatar and Nyquist on the same line.. A center who can't win face offs and two forwards who don't do well in the d-zone
-
Just saw the winner, that's what the wings need right there, crash the net!
-
Can someone post his goals, also does anyone remember that Memorial cup video where Bertuzzi and Manthas teams faced off lol weird that they are on the same team now.
-
Did this guy seriously say we need to draft a goalie..... Must not watch the wings at all lol.
-
I never asked for him to be traded!!! What the f*** look I'm just saying right now he's more expendable compared to the beginning of the season pre injury, not because of his stats because of how he sometimes plays and because of the way AA Nosek and Bert have played And that's the reason why I want us to draft a big forward because it will be decent ones available at 18 and if not then it will be a really good defenseman there, we'll see what happens with Mantha but it wouldn't hurt drafting a good big forward in just the first round, it also wouldn't hurt drafting defenseman it probably hurt us if we didn't in the long run, I agree with you smith but do you understand what I'm trying to say haha?

That's one hell of a list I'm kind of surprised to see him up that high -
Yeah I agree we need defense but please tell me you understand forwards have a better chance at making the nhl after being drafted than defenseman, I'm sure we will target defense in this years draft, what I'm trying to say is I think at 18 the forwards we could pick at that exact moment will be better options than the defenseman we can pick unless someone drops like I said which is why I want us to pick a forward. Mantha has a higher ceiling only because of his size and shot, what's that saying? Hardwork beats talent when talent refuses to work hard? Something like that anyways I keep hearing and I've seen highlights of him just out there floating around as if he isn't trying every shift compared to the other three that I've mentioned and I haven't heard that about any of them, so yeah I think Mantha is expendable AA Bert and Nosek are all big bodies correct? Just like Mantha which is what I was referring to when I said he was expendable. I haven't given up on him I think he could have a great season next year, if he actually puts more effort into every shift. His point totals will increase regardless because Pulks will be up full time. And I will admit that even I overhyped him but i saw 50 goals and my eyes lit up lol. I'm taking Corey Perry(Nosek,AA,Bert) over the old floater Ovi(Mantha) as well, if he didn't have that habit then I wouldn't think he was expendable.

WCF : (3) Chicago Blackhawks vs. (1) Anaheim Ducks
MrazekFanBoy replied to Hockeytown0001's topic in General
They couldn't start the series in the west until the east series were over -
he's expendable because we have 3 other forwards that are the same type of player and that are playing better or just as good as he has been all year. I'm expecting to get a decent sized center with some offensive upside who can plug into the number two or three hole, we only need a number 1 defense prospect and we aren't getting one at 18 atleast not a clear number one, we could select someone and they could turn into one but i think drafting a center is the safer bet. We have Jensen XO Sproul Marchenko why draft a d-man at 18? I guess the same thing can be said about forwards, and drafting one but I'd rather go with the safer play which is drafting a forward as of right now.
-
Because we have 3 nhl ready defenseman in the ahl yes we need another Lidstrom(top 2 defenseman) but we aren't getting one this year at 18th unless a miracle happens and one drops to us, also I haven't given up on him but I think now that we have Bert Nosek and AA yes now Mantha is less valuable to us, more expendable I suppose.
-
Green can move the puck and put up points he'd be fine playing with Dekeyser, Frank please just stop, he wasn't on the top two pairs because he's an offensive defenseman and Trotz is a defensive coach it makes sense that he played on the top six, Carlson is good offensively and defensively so he was on the top pair, Niskanen is decent at both so he got the second pair, green is great offensively not so great defensively so he played on the third pair with a defensive defenseman usually because the coaches first concern on five on five is solid D, he logged a lot of PP minutes on the best unit in the league, the wings PP will be number one next year if we pick green up.
-
Holland can buyout Weiss actually and it'll probably happen if we don't get Phanuef so I hope it doesn't work out
-
I haven't given up on him at all, But what do we need more in the future? A forward who can score goals or a solid defenseman who has no problem showing up every night as opposed to Anthony "The Ghost" Mantha I was so excited when we drafted this kid but honestly we need a guy who's going to show up every night and score goals or have a big hit or atleast try hard every shift, I don't like power forwards personally they are usually lazy and it only gets worse as they get older, I mean we have AA and Nosek and Bert so he's starting to not look so important to me. If all he's going to do is score 25 goals and float around then I'd rather have that defenseman who actually played for San Jose this year.
-
Franson and Petry let smith and zid walk, trade Quincey if you wanna play a kid, it's time to win. I'd actually be happy with either of them getting signed and Marchenko getting to play full time but X-man needs to play as well idk what Kenny will do
-
Mueller is already a top six d-man and right handed I believe, Mantha had a disappointing season and Bertuzzi looks like a solid power forward he had a goo season, is say the trade is even as of now but if Mantha is a bust we got robbed because Mueller looks like he could be a 2-3 guy in a few years
