The Caps are a good team and have as good of a chance to come out of the East as any other team. Trotz did very well his first season there. I don't see them getting any worse. Besides, the Caps will not trade Ovie. Now do I have to clarify that I'm not the Caps GM?

I see Callahan and Ferraro competing for a spot each game. Andersson isn't much but at this point he brings more value than Cleary.

All I'm saying is that it would be foolish for Blash to not give Smith a shot on the PP just because Babs didn't. If it makes the team better then why not try it? If he fails then take him off. Simple. It seems to me that you have a negative bias towards Smith. I never said he didn't have to earn it. You're putting words in my mouth. Please keep it respectful. -
