He pretty much did the same with Buffalo and carried them to that final vs the Stars after reaching Conference finals the year before vs the Capitals. Imagine that he would have faced the 98 Red Wings in the SC Final. First year without him Buffalo didn't even qualify. And a lot of players do that too, going to a contender team to have one last shot at the cup. Bourque did it with the Av's. -

I guess throughout the years Howard hasn't got much love from the fans. First half of the season was all about Mrazek, we tend to forget Howard stepped up when needed and helped us when Mrazek couldn't. -

Thanks, I wanted to know your take on this, I was going to ask, in my previous post, if moving Howard and Ericsson would be enough, but you just answer that as well. So if not Stamkos, whom would you pursue for a 1C? -

Krsmith17: If KH doesn't moves Datsyuk's contract, would he be able to pursue Stamkos, as he said he would or is this possible by making other adjustments? I think you're right on point about Helm,Nyquist and Tatar. Would you bring back Helm as a center or keep him as a winger? also whom would you bring to flll the remaining center position? -

How do you see Z for next season? I think we are lucky that there hasn't been any upsets to his back. He did play the whole season, yet I don't know how you guys see his role as he's aging.
