definitely, I wanted it to be a good goal too, but as you say it's a grey area and the Ducks been at heim had the advantage there. that ahd the weak ref calls all game long, I mean, wasn't there a play on Smith that should have been called for boarding and we didn't get the call?

I thought the same but it does seem like Smith making contact with Gibson causes him to turn and kick it in with the right skate.

the only thing I'd argue about the "TJ Oshie moment" is that, he was pretty much the only one in charge of the shootouts, so if the same player goes against the goalie a few times, he has a clear advantage, he had 6 chances against Bobrovsky. I know it's not his fault, but I find that IIHF rule, really stupid.

can't be mad at him for trying, at least it seems like he's trying to change the strategy, going the unconventional way, wether it works or not all we can dois wait and see.

had they gone the way you propose, it would be a mess in our jersey as well, don't forget we're honouring Howe this season. I don't like it either but since some teams do have crests or logo's as shoulder patches, I bet that's the only compromise they could come up with. I'd rather have them on the back right on top of the name, instead of the reebok logo, since a reference to the brand is already all over the jersey.
