I hope Mantha keeps playing that style of game, and although I woulda love to see Pavel play one more year with us there are a lot of uncertainties we can't account for, perhaps he didn't want to risk injury by trying to keep up his game at this (NHL) level, and for what, to barely make the playoffs? the ones that are on the losing end of this is us fans, and not having that magic night in and night out as we were used to. in 08 we had both, Hasek and Ozzie, (different scenario than 02, but still, hated to see Ozzie go) and although he was the second goalie, Ozzie was the one to carry the team to that cup. About howard, that's what I said, I know he won't get us much, specially with that contract, that's why, if a trade were to happen, it should be on a package. I think we're pretty much on the same page here, different phrasing though

I don't know if it's from scalpers, I was thinking perhaps some season ticket holders put them out there for games they don't really care that much. I was trying to get some first row center ice tickets for the games I'll be attending but some ranged from $599 - $5,999 usd, I think that's the maximum they could charge for them and maybe it's just to advertise them but not really sell them until later in the season. Still, what a way to try and make some money... smh

I dont't know, I don't see Howrd going out a Wing, as you put it, I mean look at what they did to Ozzie, letting him go just to bring him back later and helped us to that 08 cup. I mean, I love Howie, but the team hasn't been behind him and if we could trade him in a package for a top D would do it in a heartbeat. Keep Mrazek and get a solid backup, so far Coreau hasn't impressed me, yeah he's got size but seems slow. Although I agree with @F.Michael no one should be untouchable, well perhaps Z, I'd love for him to end his career as a Red Wing.

I've just finished watching the game, had a few errands to run, and wow, that game surely lit up at the end of that 3rd period, talk about finishing strong. I was really hoping for AntMan to get the hatty in OT but we were kind of messy and surely put Coreau in a tight spot (well, that happened for most of the game) I felt he started playing more aggresive and that's when that barrage of goals happened. what's up with our D trying to get out of our zone? they coughed up the puck to Leafs players way to many times by trying to play it "safe". It would have been cool to take this game after what happened at the Big House, but at least our boyz fought back and gave us hope. Really hope Blash and the boys step it up in the upcoming games. give us something to believe in. ^lol You called it Mabus, once again you're ahead of our time Now onto watching the Lions vs Packers, 4Q.
