Unless it's a Mantha for Draisaitil deal or one for a player on same level as him then i say keep Mantha. I hope they don't just trade him for anyone just cause he's having a rough transition in the ahl. I have a feeling this summer Mantha will train and work his tail off to show that he is the elite scoring winger he was brought to Detroit to be. Holland hasn't been on a " Lucky Streak " the past couple a seasons. Two years in a row bad trades for aging rent a players that contributed jack. Hopefully can turn that around here at the draft and the up coming free agency period .

Hey everyone, I would like to see a few things up that should of have happened the season before this one. 1) Get rid of Holland or demote him to a position in the organization where he has no input on signing, advising, or can even make a freaking suggestion about a player!. 2) Do whatever to send Weiss on his way and get rid of that ridiculous contract he has if we can't get rid of him and shed the full contract do something to at least shed off at the worst case half of it. 3) Sign a right handed defense-men who can make a impact, gritty up in your face and can hang with opposing teams top guys. 4) Trade Jimmy asap! dude sucks and is not anywhere near " Starting Goalie " status. Let the young gun Mrazek take over and make him the official #1 net minder. I am at the point after this most recent first round exit to say screw making the playoffs every year just so we can say we have the longest active streak of playoff appearances in north american sports. Last time i check the point of playing the game was to win the cup, not keep making the playoffs every year just to get knocked out in the first round! It's time for a big shake up in Hockeytown like it or not. The time is now!! I wanna see my Wings hoisting cups again!

Hello everyone, I am brand new here. I looked for a " New member intro " section or something like that and had no luck. But staying with the topic of the thread here. I have never liked or been a fan of Jimmy since he was named starter and thought he was okay when he was back up. Howard is DEFINETELY being wayyyy overpaid! I mean how many times have we gone into they third with a two goal lead and he let's one in with less than ten minutes left and then maybe a minute or so following the first goal another softy that's moving at a SNAILS PACE literally slides right past him or it hits part of his pads/skates and goes in??.. TOO MANY FREAKING TIMES!! . I have been pro Mrazek after i saw him play a few games and could see that he had a lot of potential of being a #1 goalie and even being a rookie i have said for the last couple years just give Mrazek his shot. I mean obviously Babcock and the rest of the coaching staff thought they stood a better chance riding the rookie Mrazek instead of Mr.Softy aka Howard. I think there are a few things that need to change for us to get back to the promised land and Howard is in the top 3 of those issues!
