That's the problem. What you refer to as bullying is just called hockey now. Used to be called playoff hockey before that. Used to be called the Devils' trap before that. The NHL's small rink negates a skill players ability to maneuver unless he is exceptionally fast and strong (Fedorov, Larkin). Nyquist belongs in the 1975 to 1985 era on Buffalo's 2nd line. He's crafty, but has zero strength and very mediocre skating. Pulkinnen serves better in his spot. Gus needs to go. -

Agreed. There used to be 5-10 teams that played playoff hockey from October to June. Now there are 20-25. Only a handful of teams will get in an icecapades skate off with us, and Nyquist shines when there isnt a body on him all game. The other 85% of the time, he gets completely nullified. -

Blash likes Smith. Why would Smith want to leave? When we all thought Smith was getting benched, it was just a case of Smith having the flu. Babcock benched Smith for a ONE brainfart, and may have cost us a cup run last year. I dont think Blashill is as stubborn and egotistic as Babcock. -

Yah, cuz it would be impossible for the team doctor to get a pic of a torn meniscus from ummmmm any of the 1,000,000 torn meniscus pics online. And what if it is a "slightly" torn meniscus? AKA - the injury has been there since he was 23 years old. Rhis is gobbly ****. -

I like the way we are heading. I think we are 2 players away from being really good. Byfuglien is the first piece. The Wings need a defenseman who brings some stank to the rink. But overall, I love watching our team right now with Mrazek being the starter. We have a chance to win every game now.
