I went to a preseason game about 10 years ago, and Osgood hooked me up with a game worn jersey that had ripped under the arm pit during the game. The lettering was all messed up on the back, tho, so I just put it in the closet for a keepsake instead of wearing it.

Well said. Jurco at 22 and Mantha at 20. Both guys are gaining muscle and becoming better all around players. I'm not saying the Wings can wait til they are 30, but criticizing Mantha right now is absurd. He's doing fine. Real well, in fact.

I was such a jackass when I was 24. Lots of fun, but I was drinking too much to recognize what I could have gotten started with. Now I have a son named Curtis Joe that's 17 months old, and he makes me a very happy man. He can't catch anything yet, but he is a good boy.

I will agree with you that it doesnt tell the whole story. But you cant say "He's been good defensively" if he's sporting a minus 6 rating. That's silly. He may have been good offensively, but good defense would imply the other team doesnt score while he's on the ice. This is not the case.

So Dylan Larkin being a +20 is meaningless? B.S. If it was a bad stat, they'd get rid of it. Green's corsi For % is a tad over 54. Thats not too bad. Smith averages about 55% and Kindl 56%.
