I think our top 9 should include Jurco, but I REALLY think our top 12 should include Jurco. Right now, its like Miller has a permanent irreplaceable spot in our lineup and there are only 11 spots to compete for. I almost feel like we'd play with 11 forwards and shorthanded during shifts where Miller would be playing if he were to miss any games to injury. It's ridiculous to me that Miller plays over Jurco EVER.

Yah, we both like Jurco, but we have different opinions on what makes him a success. I think he's been good his whole time in the NHL, despite not always scoring. KR wants more offense out of him at the NHL level.

If they take Miller out and put Jurco with Helm and Glendening, he will excel.

It almost makes you laugh watching Vancouver goalies in those ugly unis trying to toe punch Gretzky's slide shots to the far post. Ben Bishop would only have to do half a butterfly drop to push those aside!

If Ovechkin played in the 80s and 90s, he'd have 1,500 goals when he finished. The bigger goalies and goalie equipment has tightened up hockey a lot. If you watch a lot of Gretzky highlights, you will see goalies standing up trying to kick their pads out to stop weak shots along the ice and failing. A goalie today stops a lot of those shots with the butterfly style and bigger equipment. Gretzky would have a hard time hitting 500 goals if his career would have started in the 2000's.

Well, if you think its bad, you could be Yakupov and Edmonton. A stupid linesman grabbed his collar to keep from falling and jerked Yakupov backwards. His knee got caught up in the whole thing, and I suspect its torn. That linesman needs to be Fired tonight. He cannot be causing injuries out there.
