I notice the official Red Wings app for my phone has now been completely messed up too. The old app was fantastic. "Hey Hey Hockeytown" and the JLA horn have now gone. Plus all the in-game info, stats etc., also gone. The new app now only opens an NHL app which is not available in my territory! Thanks for that. Worse still, I looked at the comments of the apps for a couple of other teams and everyone is upset with the NHL for stealing the old app of their teams too. All specific team apps now only open the NHL app and everyone hates it. It seems to me that the higher the level of greed the NHL reach, the more they alienate the genuine fans of the sport (and their team). It's all pretty pathetic.
