We need to ditch Kronwall, Daley, Green, Ericsson, Helm, Abdelkader, and Nielsen BEFORE we think about adding. The kids are having a hard enough time displacing our signed vets. His fluid skating ability allows him to punish over-extension immediately with how quickly he can start plays from his own end. What his impressive mobility tends to overshadow, though, is his positional play. While he doesn't always make the high percentage play, he is very perceptive and thinks his decisions through. On the fly, he pays close attention to where the puck's going and where it's been. This allows him to read the play early and make the most of any time and space found. All-in-all, Broberg could be the most complete defenceman in his draft class. He's got elite mobility and hockey sense, and he doesn't give up his own end. Zegras makes behind the back passes on the power play against Lichtenberg and that gives him elite level passing. Mmmmm ok. Im in total disagreement with you on these 2 guys. Cozens has elite speed and can generate something Zegras cannot = 5 on 5 offense/transition. Zegras is a power play passing specialist with decent skating. Watch the 15 minute highlight clips. Cozens has a 200 foot game. Zegras has a 65 foot game. These USNDP guys arent all going to turn into Patrick Kanes. Hughes probably will. The rest will probably fizzle.

I heard Trouba to Detroit trade will not go past July 1st and that the assets going back to Winnepeg are already agreed upon. Troubas contract and conditions of draft picks last things being worked out.
