Thats my point. If Larkin is worth 8 mil, Debrincat is worth NO MORE than 5 mil per. If we give Debrincat 8x8 in a sign and trade, we will be regretting it the day he separates his shoulder in preseason game #3 because he didnt do sh!t the entire off season. We camt have (7) D that all make 9 million a year. People forget that the best defensemen on a team sometimes are the Fetisovs and Rouses that stop the goals from going in and dont cost as much as the Lidstroms and Murphys that help the goals go in.

This sounds like EXACTLY what/who we need paired with Edvinsson behind Seider/Walman. A guy that allows Edvinsson to skate up and down the ice, covers up mistakes, and doesnt cost a lot. You have this guy pegged perfectly, but you dont see that he fills a position of need. No way he's there at 9, but we should take him if he is.

Another pass. Find a guy that's 6'2", 210 lbs, and had a PLUS 20 rating last season. THAT is what we need.
