I highly doubt it. He would get some BIG publicity if anyone even caught a glimpse of him. And it would damage his leverage. So I would say 1/1,000,000 change. But you never know. It's not like he can't rehab where he wants to rehab and catch games when he wants to catch games. I just think he'd want to keep his destination desires close to the vest for $ leverage. But it wouldn't surprise me if his agent and Yzerman already have this all worked out. The Fabbri LTIR move is a favor Robby is doing for the team. It wouldn't surprise me if all of Fabbri's 81 games go on LTIR this year and Yzerman frees up close to 4 mil.

Bert needs a lot of help. Debrincat helps others and benefits from help. Big difference. We saw Bert turn into a nothing when Larkin was out and/or he wasnt on Larkin's line. Pretty safe to say Veleno and Sprong would start looking like top 6 guys real fast if Debrincat was added to their line. Bertuzzi would not have the same effect.

Larkin is being compared to guys that USED TO BE better than him. The Crosbys, Malkins, and Kopitars of the NHL are losing steam. MacKinnon, McDavid, Draisaitl, Matthews, Bedard, Hughes, and Barkov.

Agreed, but my point is that at some point in junior, he showed the ability to fire it home in the top shelf or thru the pads or under the glove. He must have had hands at some point, or he wouldnt have been given exceptional status. Both goals that game, the puck went where he wanted it to on his shot. And we havent seen him be able to do that yet. He has been Darren Helm part 2 when it comes to his offensive ability. And a player with his CV should not shoot like Darren Helm. Hopefully, he just developed a bit slower. It's easy to forget that a lot of guys dont blossom until their mid 20s. Would be funny if Veleno became that 2C we've all been wanting and waiting for. yah, it's crazy because he just couldnt shoot the puck in the fricking net. That goal from the Sprong feed in Ottawa was a goal scorer's goal. He hasnt beenable to finish like that. If he starts to consistently, he's going to give us great depth.
