I would. He's 21 and has 3 seasons under his belt. He will be a beast in 3 years.

7 mil is laughable. He's good for 20 goals and 25 assists in 65 games a season if he gets top 6 minutes. Rasmussen can do that and a lot more. Berggren can do that and more. Kasper can do that and more. Fabbri can do that. Zadina can almost do that. We dont need 186 lb left handers that can score in mediocre amounts playing with Larkin. We need a guy that can get Larkin and himself to 100 pts.

Unless we get Bedard, we are a long way away. Missing an entire top line right now. Everybody knows it. Missing 2 bottom 6 guys that can fight. Everybody knows it. Missing 2 RHD. Everybody knows it. Yzerman should be able to fix the tough guy and RHD issues in the offseason, but finding a top line is now a crap shoot.
