I'm not counting this cat out as retiring the league's all time scorer. 10 years of 125 per year gets him to 2100 pts at age 36. 10 more years at 80 pts a season gets him to 2900. McDavid is the Lemieux of hockey right now. If he can rip it up for the next 10 years at 150 pts per, there is zero chance he doesnt blow by Gretzky before he retires.
