I said it before: pro - his legs are always moving con - he skates around people and not THROUGH people The ability to skate around people goes away at the NHL level. You have to skate straight lines and dart into open areas fof split seconds. Raymond is a smaller guy, but he has a knack for finding that spot of open ice that only flashes itself for a half second. Soderblom's clips shoe nothing of that yet. The really good thing, however, is that the work rate is fantastic. He just needs experience on the smaller rink and more muscle.

got you!

Presser today 3pm est. new coach?

His legs always keep moving. Thats a great trait of his.

That aint gonna happen.

yah, i have ZERO idea what #7 thru #16 are actually worth. #2 i have an idea = young impact player + 1st rnd pick + 2nd rnd pick.
-
imagine: Bert to NJD for #2 Suter + 2023 2nd + 2024 1st for #7. Juolevi + Walman + 2022 2nd + 2024 2nd for #9. 2,7,8,9. Yzerman could do some serious damage.
-
I would do Bertuzzi + 8oa for 9oa and 16oa.
-
maybe Steve can trade back for Buffalos 9 and 16. Suter + 8oa for 9oa and 16oa
-
yes. if we dont exceed the cap, then its technically not relief.
-
I remember them in this order: Rouse Murphy Duchesne Chelios Rafalski Quincey White Smith

Yes, This is why I think we should overpay Forsberg if necessary. Even if Seider, Raymond, Larkin, Vrana, Forsberg, and Edvinsson all require 8 mil per in 2025, we'd still have room. For example, with a Beruzzi trade and Jiricek draft: Vrana (8) - Larkin (8) - Forsberg (8) Berggren (3) - Andreasson (2) - Raymond (8) Zadina (3) - Veleno (3) - Niederbach (2) Soderbom (1.5) - Rasmussen (3) - Sundquist (2.5) Stephens (1), Cotton (1) McIsaac (3) - Seider (8) Edvinsson (8) - Jiricek (2) Johansson (2) - Lindstrom (3) Wallinder (1) Cossa (2) Back up (1) Thats 84 mil total. A 10% cap increase puts it at 89 mil per season. Steve should go after Forsberg and a 2C hard this offseason. Rebuilds take time. Thats understood. But it should also be understood that rebuilds take even more time if you strike out on UFAs and continually sign 9 crappy players to 2 mil a season contracts to hit the cap floor instead of 2 really good players to 9 mil a season contracts.

we get relief if he rehabs next year, just like the bolts and kucherov. we have to pay fabri, but get cap space relief.
-
Lets talk RFA. Juolevi Walman Stephens Zadina I would re-sign all of them. 1.5 mil / 2 years each for Juolvevi and Walman. 1 mil per for Stephens / 3 years. 2.5 per / 4 years for Zadina.

what pick do we get, Zoltan? Can we elect to buy out the rest of Abdelkaders $ with our open cap space? Would be nice to get him off the books.

If we draft Jiricek and bring back Staal: Edvinsson - Seider Johansson - Hronek Juolevi - Lindstrom McIssac - Jiricek Johansson - Tuomosto Wallinder - Plandowski Senbango - Cotton Buium - Newpower Viro - Barton Aucoin - Moore Walman - Staal
-
and all our Denver boys lit it up
-
I think thats a stretch, Leftwinger.
-
I have a feeling the top 5 draft picks will go: Wright Cooley Savoie Nemec Jiricek Hoping we can get one of those guys.
-
I agree with you.
-
I think he's got his sights on Jiricek.
-
I like him, but he's definitely benefitted from Larkin and good minutes. I do think that he's earned his ice time, tho. I just dont think the Wings need to overpay him. He's worth about 5 mil per in my books.

And Bert isnt a replacement for any of them
