Agreed. Part of the problem with adding key pieces during TDL/UFA = you have to add them at the draft. And its hard to add key pieces when you dont have a top 5 pick.

Im not worried about it. I just understand that the 9th pick has a lot less chance of becoming Lucas Raymond than the 4th pick. If you have a chance to add a surefire top pairing D for a 50/50 odds to 6 forward (and 50/50 is me being VERY generous), you take it 100% of the time. The reason we didnt get him is he wasnt available to us.
