Larkin is a beast. No denying that. Im just trying to say that Zadina's 18-19 year old season was pretty damn good. Nyquist and Tatar were 23-24 years old before they got to where Zadina is now. We should be excited.

He needs to gain 45 lbs. Thats a grip load. I find that aeticle funny that said zadina needed to put on weight. Hes 195 lbs right now as a 19 year old. Rock solid. He looked way more physically fit than the others at camp recently.

Yes. 2 pro leagues right off the bat. I think its impressive.

Zadina had 38 pts in 68 games last year. I dont think we hae had a guy in our system do better as an 18-19 year old since Yzerman.

I feel like the league is going to give us Lafreniere this next draft. They took care of the big market teamsthe last 3-4 drafts. I think they are going to help out Detroit next year. A good benefit to getting #1 is getting #32 as well.

Our D is going to struggle regardless. Let the kids get their hard knocks. -
Right now, they all play F. One of the 3 F's drops back to help the D more than the other 2. We no longer have centers that stick to the center of the ice all the time and wingers that stay on their side of the center all the time. Those days are long gone.

Ilitch gets an A+ for the Holland firing. Did it in a classy way. Yzerman gets a C. The UFA signings are worthless. We need roster spots for our prospects. Giving them to other teams' dead weight is stupid. -
