I think the Leafs want Marner to get offer sheeted for (4) 1sts. Marner is worth 8 mil. Hes a good finisher. Marner is NOT worth 11 mil a year. He does not command 2 defenders the way Matthews and Tavares do. Marner is open to score pts because of his teammates. Not the other way around. -

Those guys should be Red Wings too. 1st round draft picks for a reason = theyre good. Its different if the 2002 Red Wings is our squad. Then all of those guys are prospects and in GR. But our team stinks right now because our players stink. Time for some turnover. -

Man, our prospect pool is weak. Zadina, Hronek, Seider, and Veleno are Red Wings. I dont really consider them prospects. That leaves McIsaac and Berggren as our top prospects. Ouch -

Blashill coached us to the cellar, so using his line management as a basis for argument is weak. AA played his best hockey when put with Larkin. Problem is that Mantha becomes completely invisible without Larkin. Thats why AA is more valuable and the better scorer. -
