When did Thad Gibson become a DL? I remember Michigan recruited him as a LB from Ginn Sr's team. He didn't look like he deserved a scholly either!

That was a hell of a game, but I understand your pain right now. Vince Young did the same thing to us 3 years ago. I really see the DC problems you have been complaining about all year. When Texas was driving the field on that last drive I said to my buddy "This is this season's Michigan's D". They were giving them everything under, and it was only a matter of time before it bit them hard. I think they are lucky the flood gates didn't open in the 2nd or 3rd quarter when Texas couldn't click. And don't want to really piss you off here, but I said it earlier this year, and I'll say it again. Todd Beckman should be the starter. I understand he can't escape like Pryor, and I can't argue Pryor may have more potenital then Vince Young, BUT the team believes in Beckman. He can control games, and has the senior leadership. When they kept telling stories about his senior year I really, really felt horrible for him. I really think if you start Beckman, and have a TP package on the side (like Leak/Tebow) you beat PSU, and who knows about the Texas game.

Hell just froze over!!!! I will admit I've had those kind of moments too. Drew Neitzel's jr year against Wisconsin I got sucked into a green and white state of mind. Neitzel was on fire, stealing the show, and since he's a local boy I couldn't help getting sucked into it. I wanted Neitzel to drop 60.

The streets are tough right now! If OSU was playing someone from the SEC I would most likely want them to win especially if it was against FLA. I usually always root for OSU when they are not playing Michigan, and I'm sure you do the same for Michigan
-
I love Ed Reed, and Troy Palomalu for that matter. Reed is the only player from the U that I like. That guy flat out makes huge plays every single game.

I was rooting for the Big Ten hard all bowl season...I was pissed when NW lost. There is no point because the Big Ten is now 1-5 or something like that so what's the point in rooting for OSU? It isn't going to give the Big Ten a new found respect. But who am I kidding, if the Big Ten was 5-1 right now I would still root for Texas!
-
I agree with all of that. I just want the Bolts to lose, and lose bad. I hate Philip Rivers with a passion. I would also enjoy watching the Giants blow it, because I'm not a fan of Eli, or Tom Coughlin. I guess I'll predict Steelers vs. Eagles.

I said it before, and I'll say it again: OSU will get severely abused by the Horns, or win. Nothing in between. With that said Hook em Horns! There's no more purpose to root for the Big Ten anyway at this point...

I absolutely LOVED watching Saban's face during that game. He was pissed, confused, and sad all in one face. Crazy U-M was Utah's closest game this season...WEIRD!

At least you went bowling ): I seriously thought at random times through out yesterday "When is Michigan on?...Oh yeah I'm a dumbass!"

Petty Enterprises is no more. It's what got me into NASCAR over 15 years ago ): What a shame. 60 years of being involved, and they can't save them.

Plus a bunch of stupid draft picks/free agent decisions. He was a great coach for them, but this was a little overdue. My best friend is a die hard Broncos fan, and I was with him when Shanny got fired. I thought he was going to take his anger out on me, and end my life!

I agree on your reasons about Campell, or that guy. I say it's a bad pick because he never played one game for the Lions. I know that wasn't his fault, but still he never played. I also liked the Rogers/Harrinton picks at the time, but it didn't work out. Boss Bailey had 7 sacks in 5 years with the Lions, and I'm surprised Edwards had 5 sacks this season, because he only had 7 while in Detroit. Wow, now that I think about it Kevin Jones is another classic Millen pick that I was really high on but didn't do much. -

Well I don't know if all these guys are still in league yet, but off the top of my head I can name some pretty bad Millen picks: Mike Williams, Charles Rogers, Klimba Edwards (sp?), that guy from the Army, Teddy Leham, Boss Baily, and Joey "Ball game" Harrington. On top of that I always thought Dozin, Stanton, Cody, Bullock, and that guy from Hawaii were dumb picks. Jeff Backus was a Millen pick too IIRC, and he needs to go too. -

Agree 100%, but those dumbasses are probably not smart enough to notice it. Thats the worst part of all of this ): -

I was on that Cassel idea too, but the more I think about it I am shying away from that. If Cassel, and Orvolsky traded spots before the season started would their be any difference? I don't know if there would be. I'm with you though about taking a Qb next year in Sanchez, or someone like that. -

I agree with you 100%. Look at that Dolphins. They singed, and drafted a bunch of "dirty" players, but I guess you could argue with me about what Matt Ryan has done but I think thats rare, and would rather build the team the right way like you say. I will take that bet for sure. Since we are hiring within for Millen's replacement I would not be shocked at all. -
So scared!!!!!!

HAHA!!!! AMEN!!!! -
You have no idea. We have a RS frosh RB named Cox. How fun would a Beaver/Cox backfield be?!!!!
-
No he didn't. He had a OSU, PSU, ORE, and WVU in his final four, but WVU was never really a factor because it wasn't prestigious. So when RR went to U-M everyone assumed he would go there because he switched WVU and U-M on his list, and his offense would be going to a prestigious school with immediate playing time. Then he delayed his choice way beyond signing day because he liked OSU, his dad loved PSU, Charlie Batch (his mentor) wanted Michigan, and he still wanted to visit Oregon.

My thoughts exactly. Thats horse crap, and it shows WCF does not give two craps about his football team. I can't believe he's bringing those morons back. What's even the point of firing Millen if you keep Dumb and Dumber? It makes no sense. I had a feeling when we traded R. Williams, and it got good reviews from NFL peers WCF would keep them around. -

I agree. If it was at Ford Field I would actually think they have a chance, but now it's slim to none. 0-16...what a shame. -
Yes you are right on signing. I don't understand your Pryor comment, because he was never committed anywhere. In fact, he didn't even sign on signing day because he was still confused and waited 2 or 3 more weeks to pick OSU. Quotes from Forcier's Dad: "Tate is all graduated! He just did it. He will be in Ann Arbor January 3rd, and will start in workouts with Barwis. And he has friends up there on campus, and family in the Detroit area ... so there'll be no problems in that regard with Tate!"
-
That was the most arrogant comment ever! Do some research. Forcier is all signed up for U-M classes, and is moving to AA January 3. He isn't going anywhere!!!!! Wishful thinking right there.....Instead of worrying about our recruiting you should focus on your own. Word on the street is Lane Kiffen wants Maxwell to visit Rock Top after X-Mas. That is not true either. I loved Beaver since I watched him play on ESPN. It's a tough blow, but there are other QB's out there, and we already have one. Who cares if he went to Tulsa, instead of USC, OSU, etc? It's the kids choice to spend the next four years of his life. Last year DJ Woods, a WR went to Cincy over MSU...big deal.
