^^^I root for every Big Ten team even OSU/MSU during this event. It is so lop sided. I would really love to see the Big Ten take it home sometime, but I doubt this year will be any different. Michigan plays Maryland, and then Duke during the next week. A split would be quite something, but probably wishful thinking.

I agree 100% with the first 2 paragraphs. Can't agree, or disagree on the third. I guess well have to wait and see on how good or bad the Big Ten is. MSU, and PSU could underachieve next season, while Michigan overachieves, or vise versa. You just never know, especially with football. I take it you're in a good mood today, because you actually said "RichRod" over something else ( -:

I agree. I don't know about 9 wins, because Forcier/Beaver will still have hard freshmen struggles, but they are an upgrade. It also helps both will be in spring practice. I will say though it is wishful thinking expecting them to have Chad Henne freshmen year. I can't believe some actually judge Rodriguez just off this year. This U-M team did not have a lot of talent, and that talent it did have was raw/young. If you are throwing the guy under the bus already it is a joke. His track record speaks for itself. Is that a guarantee he will have the same success at U-M? No it doesn't, but if also means you gotta let the guy do what he believes in And like listed above the schedule is nicer.

Ouch, I don't like any of those match-ups. I never bet against USC in the big games, don't think MSU can hang with Georgia because of Hoyer, OSU will do their best Buffalo Bills impression like always, Wisconsin will get shredded by the spread offense, never know what you're getting with Iowa or NW, and I think Kansas will eventually outscore Minnesota. Not good!!! These projections can change quick though....

Never understood why Tommy Amaker's dumbass put no heat on Tory Jackson. He wanted to come here, yet Amaker turns to bums like Jerret Smith, and K'Len Morris, who both play for GVSU now.

CMU is a very intriguing game. Playing LeFevour is not easy, and CMU should have beaten Purdue both times the last 2 years. Plus MAC teams beating Big Ten teams is starting to become a theme lately. Toledo over Michigan WMU over Illinois CMU over Indiana I think there are a couple I'm forgetting too if you look at the last 2 seasons.

If the Spartans were in East Lansing I would most likely pick them, but Happy Valley will be insane this weekend. I don't buy much into the 12th man thing, but PSU is one of the exceptions.

It's crazy what a year does. I know there's TONS of basketball to be played, and this team is still probably NIT bound, but I watched almost every game last season, and thought to myself "Will this 1-3-1, or crazy offense ever work?" Haven't felt this good about Michigan since the FLA bowl game. Awesome win. I agree on Downtown Douglass. I really wonder what the heck he's doing sometimes, but the kid has balls. That questionable 3 he took probably was the difference.

It's just not RR. Les Miles said he was staying at Oklahoma State, and a day later goes to LSU. Petrino, Saban, and many others have said similar things too. Funny how it's okay for Dantonio to take his staff to MSU, and leave Cincy out in the cold for their bowl game. I understand the head coach not coaching in the bowl game, but not other coaches...thats a joke. That get a life comment was also taken so far out of context it's ridiculous. You are right on the conservative comment. I am not ripping Dantonio for it because it works. I've watched it for years, but you just wait it will cost you, and it's the most frustrating thing ever. It's pretty obvious Lloyd Carr wouldn't be 3-8, but if Carr was still here we would have a lot more key players back because there would have been hardly no attrition. It's not fair to say that. Wow, WMU plays MSU, and U-M in one season. What's the deal with WMU playing Big Ten teams at Ford Field now?
