BAM! http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/blog...rn=ncaaf,117593

I got no problem with the excitement, and trash talking from MSU fans it is well deserved, but lets say U-M beat OSU and they made shirts I would be embarrassed. My final word on the billboard/shirt (PS I will try and find the billboard link right now) is Dantonio himself said "Pride comes before the fall". Billboards, and shirts show a lot of pride don't they??
-
I honestly have no idea.....
-
I was just going to talk about that. CLASSY!!! Wouldn't be surprised if there is something about that in the U-M locker room already. I never thought I would see a coach get a gatorade shower, and a billboard post in the city after beating a 2-5 football team.

I'll say Chicago, or Minnesota.

Lane Kiffen will replace him. Write it down!

Lane Kiffen will go to Washington....write it down!

I am very familiar with Couisins, and Nichol for that matter too. I might have said a few times on here but I was in shock they offered him. I can't see Couisins starting next season (I know he has played well when he has went in), but I can't see him beating out Nichol. A few of my MSU buddies claims if Nichol was eligible he would be starting right now. Have to remember Nichol took Sam Bardford to the last day of practice not too long ago. Nichol can also take off when needed too.

That is very fair, and true although your only flaw is on Henson. Henson was the best QB coming out of HS. He was up/down at U-M, but you have to consider he was very young, and on top of that didn't stop playing baseball, which he should have done. I understand your talent point. There is a lot of talent there, but it is very raw. Most of the key players should be still be on the bench for a year or two more, but can't because of the attrition to the draft, transfers, etc. But you are right there is no excuse someone shouldn't step it up like White has. There actually is a handful of them, but it doesn't show up on the score sheet, or scoreboard.

Michigan has desire, but they are so young it's hard to bring it all the time. Having such a young team also hurts leadership. They basically have Terrence Taylor, and Morgan Trent...that's it for guys who can be leaders. Last year they had tons of leaders in Hart, Henne, Long, Crable, Adams, etc. It's hard for freshmen to step up as leaders, and when your leading WR, starting TE, QB, and 2 of your RB's are all freshmen where is it going to come from? You can say we'll see about the jewelry, but I think it's hard to deny when you see all these freshmen players, and even more freshmen playing next year, plus RR's track record. That offense should be something fun to watch..... You're right this isn't the same program as it was under Carr, but that was expected. The only way it would have been the same is if Debord was hired. MSU usually does start good. The only bad lose I can think of besides La Tech in the last few years is Rugters, when they were piss poor awful.
-
Thats my point about time. You're making it sound like they have been losing forever, and thats FAR from the case. It's a span of barely over a year. App State jokes really don't effect me, and I was saw it in person. People can say what they want, but I truly believe App State would have beat anyone in the Big Ten that day except OSU, but unfortunately it had to happen to us. People can bring up Toledo, App State, and the tide is turning, but we will see who is laughing when Michigan is wearing the jewelry.

I thought they should have put in Boekman in the game. Don't worry the OL will have baby Boren next year. I'm sure that will help
-
They lost to Central Michigan though...
-
Forget the bowl idea. There is no chance! NONE! The best chance to win another game is Purdue. For RR's sake beating OSU would be beyond huge, and create great momentum for the off season, but it will be extremely difficult going down to the Shoe. The only thing that gives me hope for that game is it is a rivalry game, and anything can happen.
-
Wow after PSU shocked me tonight they better not lay a friken egg somewhere down the line. I think PSU can take on anyone in the country besides Texas, but I think Texas will lose someplace just because their schedule is sooo brutal.
-
I would not take Hoyer. Wouldn't even consider it. The only difference between Hoyer and Threet is Hoyer has much more zip on his ball, and actually can settle down, but Hoyer is a senior, and Threet is a RS freshmen so I guess thats a expected. Neither are good QB's. Threet has a lot of potential. It will be interesting to see if he will be able to fulfill it. He will have a lot of competition come spring from Beaver/Forcier. Most assume Threet will be a backup next year, but I disagree that is set in stone. Here I am giving MSU credit. They were the better team. No question. It was a fun game to watch until the final 5 minutes, or so.
-
I was disappointed, but I can't say I wasn't expecting it. I thought the D put up a great effort most the game, but keep getting snake bitten by a handful of huge plays. Threet needs to calm the F down down too, and the OL is once again horrible. I guess little brother needs to win once in a while, or else it would never be fun.

Yeah that is stunning Wow you are big time now!!! Before you know it you will have Spath's job BTW I jumped on the fire Bob Daniels wagon!
-
Oh how classic!!!! You are full of links, and images this week!! I'm texting him that right now. He will not appreciate it!
-
I'm officially fired up!!! I got home today with a package at my door from my MSU neighbor. It was some cookies wrapped in X-Mas paper with a note that said "Today feels like Christmas Eve for me. Go Green!!" I thought to myself this is what it's all about! GO BLUE NO MATTER WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Seriously though I can't see PSU going to Columbus and winning. PSU has only faced adversity once this season, and that was last week against a horrible Michigan team. I don't think PSU has ever even won in Columbus since joining the Big Ten if I remember right..... OSU 28-20
-
Oh you mean the Northwestern - Indiana game? No I have no clue who is going to win that one
-
You don't even have to talk about academics. All you have to say is two words: Mike Vick Or what the hell you could even say Marcus Vick!
-
^^^HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! WOW!!!^^^ Be prepared for the wrath of the Black Chamber!

P.S. - MSU fans going to the game Saturday remember to bring your diplomas, or student ID's so you can use the handicap parking
