    Khabibulin clears waivers

I think L.A. sounds like the place too. Pretty sure TB wants to give Smith a shot, and OTT is putting it on Gerber's shoulders.

For your ND point...that means nothing now a days in college football. Anyone can beat anybody. Would you put money down Penn State would beat USC this weekend because PSU wasted Oregon State? I know I wouldn't... I see your point on the fools gold, but you are giving no credit to Michigan's defense. They shut down PJ Hill, they killed Evridge, and were forcing turnovers. The reason they were kicking FG's was because of Michigan's Defense. That whole unit play lights out especially if you consider they were on the field A LOT in horrible situations.

^^^^Can't agree U-M will be top three. Yes, it is possible they could win out, but it is also possible they could lose out. More then likely they will finish some where in the middle between those 2 scenarios.

Thanks for the link. I usually read the Freep/Detnews, but had no time today. It is about time.

Hey that sounds good to me. I agree on the schedule. They really need one for a better chance to keep improving. Some of those little things, or those STUPID fumbles need to be corrected ASAP! If the defense plays similar to the way they did Saturday, which they should be very capable of doing they will at least be in every game to be in a position to steal some games. It's all on the offense, which by the way needs a RB combo IMO. If you make a McGuffie/Minor or Brown combo you add power to go along with McGuffie's play making ability..

I agree. Although if a Big Ten team did that it would be great for exposure for whoever did it, and I would be watching for sure.

    Matt Millen fired!

I think this is going to be a long process of rebuilding the team. It is a big mess. I would think 4-5 years, unless they literally dump almost the whole team, which you hinted at. I would love to see the team be blown up. Keep Calvin/Sims, and the rest can go. We could trade Roy for a first rounder, and probably more to some other team.

Anyone else read/hear the RUMOR that the Pats may be willing to give a pick for Kitna? If that is true pull the trigger now!

The reason I wouldn't want Marty is because that guy can't get over the hump, but I guess it is a fine option because the Lions are miles away from that hump to begin with I don't think Pete Carrol's style of coaching would be successful in the NFL (it's already happened once). Maybe he learned his mistakes, but he would be dumb to leave everything USC has to offer, but if the Reggie Bush thing keeps coming up who knows.....

Anyone got any ideas of who to replace Millen with? I guess you could add someone to replace Marenelli for that matter too... If Millen does go I assume the new guy brings his coach in as well.

Drew Sharp actually said something smart on ESPN that we should remember.....It was Jr's idea to hire Millen in the first place, but hey at least the guy knows when things need change.

Some people claim Jr. hates how Sr. runs the team, or will be a big difference once he takes it over. I've always wondered if thats a bunch of something to believe in garbage, or the truth.

Oh by the way. It's time to bench Kitna. Yeah, he's a warrior, and a stand up kind of guy, but I'm over that now. Put in Stanton and or Orvolsky and see what the young guys can do, because as of now we may have a shot to draft the No. 1 QB on the board, and we need to know what the other QB's on the roster can do.

You are on the right track. I've said it a million times, but the Lions will never be good with the Ford's owning the team. Make them sell it to Illitch, or Davidson.

Ringer is a frickin Stud. What he did after the game bringing his OL, and FB's in the interview room was a very classy move. I wonder if he can last the whole season with his work load though. Mike Hart had a 300+ carry season, and was fine the whole time, on the other hand Hart's other season with that many carries he couldn't stay healthy a single game. It will be interesting, because if MSU needs to put their weight on Hoyer I think they are in big trouble. Once again not impressed with ND. I know they are very young still, and have a boat load of 5 star HS players, but it's not even that. Their play calling makes me stratch my head...on both sides of the ball.

I agree with that. If teams like GVSU can run playoffs smoothly D1 (or whatever they call it now) can too. With that said though I am against playoffs. I think they should keep the bowls. I'm pretty excited to watch GVSU tonight. Haven't been to any of their games in several years.

Wow, no kidding!! You think none of us never made the connection there? DickRod is no different then John LLLL Smith, LLLLoyd Carr, Dumbtonio, Sneaky Pete, Tre$$el, etc, etc. All are dumb, but you nor I can't lie they can be fun to use. Again when did I 'cross the line'? Hey at least you know your spot in the family. Once again, where the heck did I cross this line for you to be so "disappointed", and "shocked"? Is it any different from other arguments that have went on in here?

What's the difference between Dumbtoio and Dickrod?! They are both stupid. I'm just going along with the jabs. I know every single school has players who are stupid. Heck, MSU, and U-M look like a Christian school compared to PSU. I figured since were talking about Harrison not being able to hold it in we might as well bring up Enos too. I don't understand what you're all up tight about Timothy. I didn't throw a personal attack at anyone. Were just exposing each other's schools flaws, which is what MSU (and OSU fans) do to U-M fans, and vice versa. I didn't say anything to trigger the Harrison comment. I was replying to your MSU youtube video, and was saying how I liked it, and the U-M Big Ten commercial.
