I agree with you there! Kostas and crew are pretty average IMO.

I agree on both points, except I was never no swimmer! I like watching swimming, and basketball the most. Used to like track, but now every time someone wins they are accused of doping/steroid use so that kind of turned me off. My favorite summer olympic moment still is from 1996, when Kerri Strug landed that flip thing in gymnastics.

Don't know what I think of the idea yet, but the people freaking out saying "He's going to destroy the team!" need to settle down. Way to much leadership on the team for that to happen. He would be a great backup to have if Howard doesn't pan out in training camp.

I agree on Sharpe/White, but the deal still kind of bothers me. DJ White is your typical Joe D guy. He stayed in college all four years (like Prince/Maxiel), and battled a lot of diversity at IU with injuries, and coaching changes. He fits the mold perfectly, and is a big body. Now we got Sharpe, who by all reports doesn't have his head on straight. He got kicked off Miss. State, and barely played for UAB because of grades. I would have been much happier with White, CDR, or Walker, but I'll give this guy a chance. The off-season has just begun, and I think this is only the beginning of adding new faces.

It's a cool story, but I'm more on BlackChamber and SeeingRed's side on this one for sure.....

I wonder what the result would have been if Bynum would have played? Watching the Celtics win it all was a disgusting....if you don't count Allen there isn't a single player on that team I like especially Pierce, and Alien Cassel.

^^^I would only take trade No. 1, and we would have to do at least one other move to be elite if we did it. I think some people need to chill about how Sheed needs to go or we can't win. I can't argue he may have wore out his time, or is a loose cannon, but how many guys at his position can you say are better then Rasheed Wallace? Off the top of my head I can name Howard, Bosh, Duncan, and KG...thats it. The guy also loves all his teammates, and was the only Piston to show up for Curry's press conference (which is respectful). Don't get me wrong I am open to trading him, but I wouldn't trade him just so you can say you did.

You can also point out the Paul Gasol trade. I think I would have rather had a free meal from Applebees then receive the players the Grizzles got for Gasol. That trade was a total joke!

I agree if he wanted to make a big splash, and gain some support he would just spill the beans and call out some names. I wouldn't doubt one second a lot of this stuff is true. I'm sure it meets someplace in the middle though. Till the day I die I will believe the NBA was rigged when the Pistons lost to the Heat in the Conference Finals. Heck, you could take this another level by questioning the lottery as well when a big time market in Chicago gets a miracle by getting the No. 1 pick. Now I wouldn't take it that far, but just throwing it out there.....

I agree on Melo. I think he seems like a jerk too. Maybe he needs a change of scenery, because SOMETIMES he shows maturity. Maybe Joe D wants a "star" now because Melo averaged a little more then 25 PPG in the West, plus had A.I. on his team who shoots about 90 shots a game so that isn't too shaby. I would take Brand too.....

I've thought this same thing. We were very lucky that Rafalski was around. For our cap room there was only one guy IMO better then Schiender, and that was Rafalski. Also, by losing Bert it gave Franzen a bigger role, and that worked out good.

That doesn't surprise me at all. The guy seems like a jerk in pressers, and always looks wasted on the bench, plus doesn't even look like he's coaching.

That is how I exactly feel, especially the part on Sheed. Love that guy, but all things must end. I don't think Sheed being a goner is set in stone though by any means. Joe D could pull a move with any of our starters. Have to remember if Sheed sticks around one more year we have 13.5 million in free cap room just off him, and next off season will have many stars on the market. I'm glad Joe D is deciding this though because many GM's in all sports make a big move just so they can say they made one which often is a failure. I'm also glad he isn't having a Detroit Pistons fire sale for the NBA. He expects to be where we were this season.

Interested to see what Curry does as head coach. Supposedly he is a "up and coming" kind of guy. This won't be the last big move IMO...

I know I'm probably a minority here, but I love Melrose. I know he picks against the Wings a lot, and can say some dumb things, but I think the guy is great. ESPN won't be the same without him.

Sounds like Flip will return for his final year of his contract. Will be interesting what moves the team makes this off season...

I feel so bad for Dice right now...... Someone has to go. I can't see getting much for Sheed at all if we traded him. I would LOVE to trade Prince, but I don't think Joe D would do that. I think Rip/Billups should not be dealt at all, but I could see Billups still getting some great value, and we will still have Stuckey. It's hard for me to pick a starter that should be gone, because I have enjoyed all of them in certain moments. Prince is my No. 1 though to be dealt if I had the choice...... One of the ESPN guys said it is the "NBA secret" that if Flip doesn't get to the finals he is done. We will see about that. I have no clue who you would replace him with. Can't honestly say there are any better candidates out there (I have doubts about Johnson).

That was a tough game. Sucks Stuckey made the shot he wasn't suppose to make. It may get even worse if we lose Rip. He looked like he was in bad shape with his arm. I said from the start this would go seven, and I still believe that.

Billups does not look 100% at all. Thank goodness for Stuckey. I'm pretty confident they will win game four.

Good point on Darko. I never thought of that. They do have some similarities...... By the way I don't understand how Lopez is projected a top 5 pick. Can't see him being more then a role player.
