    2007 College Football Season Talk

Do you know him personally, or just know of him? Have you visited him? I forgot the site, but sometimes his mom posts reports on him, and yesterday she posted that Brock could feel the blanket on his legs for the first time since the accident. On webistes I've seen pics of him, and he's deck out in OSU gear, but I'm sure that will probably change now because of Elliot.

Wow you know Brock? I watched a news clip online about them. They seem like great people. I feel horrible for the pastor that ran the stop sign, and killed Elliot's dad/girl friend.

    NBA 2007-2008 SEASON

I agree with you, but at the same time I can understand DRW's post too. I think this trade is going to be a home run, or a strike out...nothing in between.

Yes it's true. McGuffie faxed his LOI in about an hour ago to U-M. With the 3 freshmen Shaw, McGuffie, and Robinson we have some scary speed out there!

You can't put 100% stock into them, because some guys don't pan out, and other low ranked guys become All Americans and/or 1st round picks like AJ Hawk, or Braylon Edwards, but I have followed it very close the last few years, and it's fairly solid. Minny does have a good class (I heard it was their best in 40 years). Their QB looks like a real player, and Brewster can recruit. He recruited Vince Young to Texas a few years ago.

    2007 College Football Season Talk

Well U-M has Steven Threet, a highly recruited pocket passer from Adrian who transfered to U-M from Georgia Tech last year. He was our No. 2 recruiting target behind Mallett last summer, but since Mallett came we stopped recruiting him. Were lucky he ended up coming here anyway. He will be eligible to play this season. We also got Justin Feagin today, who many compare to Pat White. Both are short, had trouble throwing the ball out of high school, and can run like a bat out of hell. If the other 2 QB's have to play (Sheridan/Cone) U-M is screwed!

I love U-M's class with or without Pryor. We got Feagins so we will see if he can play QB, which I think he can. The LB/OL group is outstanding, and by just adding Shaw/Robinson we got big time speed on offense. Plus Darrel Stonum is coming in at WR, and he will be wearing No. 1 so that already says what he's about. Just saw OSU signed a QB late. They must be getting scared for the Pryor sweepstakes too.

Timmy is right McGuffie is on the fence, but he hasn't joined Cal as of now. He may still sign with U-M today. The longer it drags the better for Cal IMO. U-M stole PSU's RB Shaw today though so if McGuffie leaves it shouldn't sting as bad.

Oregon is back on the list for Pryor. U-M/OSU fans (and now PSU/OR fans) will have to keep waiting ):

It was a good game for a while, but like usual Michigan finds a way to lose. This is going to be a long coaching transition....

Signing day is tomorrow! I expect Rodriquez to finish strong, but sadly I don't think it will include Pryor. Congrads to HTRW in advance for Pryor

    Brady Vs Manning

Are you serious? Eli is not even close to Brady, or P. Manning. Eli struggled big time this year until the final 5 games. Maybe he has turned the corner though, and will be a stud next season. As for now though I don't think you can talk about Eli with Brady/Peyton in the same breath...even with Eli's new ring.

I love coach Knight! I really don't understand why he left right now. I mean they still have a shot at the tourny....

    Greatest Sports Upsets Ever

Stanford over USC was also a huge upset. If this season's college football would have been even kind of normal it would have been talked about non stop.

    Greatest Sports Upsets Ever

I think No. 1 hands down is the Miracle on Ice. I don't think there will ever be a bigger upset. No. 2 sadly has to be Michigan vs Appy State. Of course I wasn't around during the time, but from it sounds like the first Super Bowl was quite the upset as well. I'd say this years Super Bowl is right around 5th all time.

I've been to MIS 3 times...I think the last one at MIS I was at was in 1999. I was also at the Brickyard 400 a few years ago. That was amazing! I've got a few autographs, none are good ones except for Davey Allison. I also got Kyle Petty, Johnny Benson, Mike Skinner, Morgan Shepard, and Ernie Irvin.

Thats a solid guess list. I would add Stewart in there, along with Khane. I don't think Montoya will make it. He will be close, but I think just short. I will make a very bold prediction here on a possible driver: Bobby Labonte. Not saying he will make it, but I wouldn't be surprised if he was sniffing around the 12 before the cut.

I forgot about Gibbs switching to Toyota. That will play a factor. I don't know why you would leave a Chevy motor for a unproven Toyota. Money I'm assuming......

I think Jr. has it in him to win a championship some day. Making this move showed he was serious about winning. He already has tons of fame, and is one of the top 5 favorite drivers despite his lack of success. If he was happy with just being a very popular driver, and winning once in a while he would have stayed with DEI. He wants to be famous for winning...not for being a legend's son, and his looks.

Got to agree with you on Johnson. If not Johnson probably Gordon. Stewart has a solid shot too. I want to see how Little E will do with Hendricks this year. He has no excuses now with that team. I will continue to root for my favorite driver Kyle Petty (Been a fan for 15 years now). If he gets a top 15 finish in any race I will be pumped! I think Kyle is near the end of his career fairly soon so maybe next year I can pick a new favorite driver! Until then I will stay loyal.
