Peter Gammons just said this deal with be finished tonight. I hate giving up Miller, and Maybin, but at the same time can't complain about what were getting. In 5 years we could all be very pissed, but at the same we may not care because we will have a ring. I trust Gammons. I'm glad Herbstreit isn't declaring it (;

This is getting out of control, and it's pissing me off. I really believe Miles left the door open for Michigan, but we shall see if we still have a shot. In his press conference he never said he agreed with the contract, and he never shut the door on U-M. He easily could have said both, and sealed the deal. I know he wants to talk to U-M, but it may be too late.

Michigan laid an egg against BC. It was close the whole game (they were even winning) until a 2 minute collapse in the 2nd half. The mistakes/errors in those 2 minutes allowed BC to start hammering them. Too bad. Lots of learning to be done for that very young team.

Exactly, but from reading online this are going to get intense. The people in power at U-M are on one side or the other on Miles, and there is no in between. I don''t know what the problem is, but most believe Carr is really against Miles coming here. There must have been many conflicts between Carr, and Miles while under Bo.

It was only a matter of time. Miles will coach U-M next year, no doubt about it.

This is really sad. It probably shouldn't be brought up now, but these Miami kids need help. So many of them get in the wrong crowd. It's horrible Taylor got shot, but odds are he had it coming from being in the wrong crowd.

Take a friken chill pill. Red can say whatever he wants he here, and so can anyone else. He posts have meaning, and he doesn't use the F-bomb non stop like someone on here..... If you think you are being treated like a kid quit cussing like one...it would probably be a good start.

Like Red said they are student athletes! This isn't basketball where they can play 2 or 3 times in a week for the tourny. In football you need a week to prepare, rest, ect. That would add 8 weeks to a already long, intense season. If they ever started a playoff it would not be 16 teams. It would be less, and like I already said if there are less then 16 it solves nothing because a handful of teams will not stop crying just like they are now.

Why would we take 2 LB's the first two rounds? Last year we could have drafted Puzlunsy (who I wanted bad), or David Harris...instead we took Stanton. I'm not saying you're wrong, but when the Lions pass on two 1st round caliber LB's in the 2nd round I can't see them all of sudden wanting one now.

If you read pages back I wrote this same thing, but I'll say it again. A playoff solves NOTHING. If you have a 4 team playoff you will have 5-6 teams crying they didn't get in just like they are now. If you have 8 you run into the same problem, and if you have 16+ it will take too much time.

Looks to me no team wants to play in the NC game....

Amazing game between East Grand Rapids, and Orchard Lake St. Mary!! Five OT's! Glad to see EGR win. I always root for the teams in my area! Also congrads to my alma mater Unity Christian. They made the playoffs for the first time in only 5 years of having High School football.

I don't think you will be able to call Hart a NFL bust, because he won't be drafted high enough to be considered one. If stays in the NFL a long time I would call it a great career. I love Hart, but he lacks size, and speed for the next level. His attitude, and ability to break tackles may give him a solid career though... I think of the Wolverines going to the NFL this year Henne will have the best career out of all of them. He's a warrior, very smart, and if not for injury he would in the first group of QB's going to the NFL this year.

I stayed up till the crack of dawn and watched U-M. I thought they played very well, but Butler couldn't miss a 3 in the 2nd half, and was making me sick.
