So far this summer Stuckey is averaging just under 20 a game, and Afflao is averaging 16 PPG. I know it's just summer league, but hopefully these guys can contribute right off the bat!

Not really, but usually 50% of it sucks. We usually have a guy like Marlin Jackson, or Leon Hall on one side, and some bum on the other. The DB's have improved a lot since English took over though. I agree. The D-line will be loaded, but after that there are question marks at every position. Will Trent step up? Who will be the No. 2 CB? Will Crable step up? If this D ends up way better then expected this year I am sure English will make the final cut of head coaching canidates (assuming Carr retires)

USC pretty much has a cake walk to the title game. The only game they can lose is Cal (like said above), and if Oregon shows up to play they might be able to. I know I am looking over a year ahead, but I can't wait for Ohio State to play USC in 2008!

Hey don't worry. It's not like serious talks are going on right now...just news passed along. if the Pistons dominate the first half of the year we will not see any major changes.

Believe me on this, or don't believe me, but just take this for what its worth... My best freind has worked for the Pistons the last half of year for a sports managment internship. Since he is just an intern he doesn't get to hear all the "secret news", but he does get bits and pieces. He said as of now the most likely Piston to be traded is Rip, and if this happend it would most likely be during the season. The reason for Rip: His contract ends soon, he is in his prime, and we could get a very good player (or two) in return. Again...take this for what it's worth, but I thought I should share it.

Good post. I totally I agree. I was hoping we would let Burt go, and get Smyth, but that didn't turn the way I planned. I trust Holland to do the right thing.

Thanks SWF. I agree with everything on there except for the last sentence about maybe mixing up the staff. That won't happen unless Carr retires (which I think he will) If he doesn't he will be allowed to stay as long as he wants. I predict right now Les Miles will be coaching U-M next season.

Why didn't we take Young from USC!!!?!?! That guy is so under the radar because of where he plays. I don't know what to think about the Stuckey pick, but I love the Affalo pick. I think Affalo will be great coming off the bench. Ric Bucher said 2 days ago Stuckey is the diamond in the rough of the 1st round. I hope he's right!

I will be at that game. Our family has season tickets, and it's finally my turn! I can't wait! If Michigan starts the year 4-0 I expect them to run the table, but starting 4-0 will be very hard. They play App State, Notre Dame, Oregon, and Penn State.

This won't turn into the NBA. If there was no off-sides the NHL wouldn't even have lacross scores. I think some people are getting way to intense on this topic. I don't agree with it either, but it's fun to talk about. Some people on here are talking like it's a serious thought by the NHL. RELAX!!!!
