I think Stanton will be better then Smith, but that doesn't mean I'm saying Stanton will be good. Like Red said just never really wowed me. I love the Williams trade. Roy and Calvin will be very solid!

I'm sorry. In a non-biased opinion this is a stupid pick. I love Drew's toughness...I loved his attitude even though he was on a sinking ship all year, but I don't like his decision making. I'll take Stanton over Quinn anyday of the week though!

An idea I had for drafting a QB that we could get in the 6th or 7th round: Matt Guiterrez. He would have started at U-M, but got hurt, and Henne took over. Gutz left for Idaho State. When this guy came to U-M I thought he was a Tom Brady clone. I still think that. If he would have started at U-M he would be around a 2nd or 3rd round pick IMO.

New rumor from Kowalski.... Lions "bluffing" or actually thinking about taking Quinn, which scares the Browns. Browns trade their pick, plus a 2nd rounder to the Lions for the No. 2 pick. Lions may then trade it again to ATL for their 1st round pick, and 2 second round picks. We would then have four 2nd round picks. With four 2nds we could take Stanton or Edwards, a D-line, and other positions. With ATL's pick we could draft Jamal Anderson, Levi Brown, or Leon Hall...all we could use.

I'm really starting to think the Lions will draft Johnson. IMO Johnson is a CAN'T MISS WR...I didn't think that about Rogers, and the Williams'....I thought they would be very good players, but not great like Johnson. Drafting him though doesn't really help our draft needs though.....

Delfino, and MAXIEL have to play. Flip made the mistake of burning out our starters last year. If he makes the same mistake he should be fired.

Around the Horn is a joke. The only good guy is Calishow (sp?). He loves hockey, and NASCAR, and tries to plug them in as much as possible even though he knows he will get ripped on it by the other losers. If they put Drew Sharp on that show you could call it "America's Dumbest Sports Writers"

I agree. I'm sure money had something to do with it, because he also writes for the website. ESPN is also a very high profile job if you are a TV anchor. I actually emailed Buci about 2 months ago asking if ESPN would ever get hockey again and he actually responded. He said hockey won't return for at least 3-4 years, but it's a possibility. He used NASCAR, Arena Football, and MLS as examples (they were all on ESPN, then left, and then came back). I also hate how ESPN shows no hockey, but it is a buisness. ESPN is promoting their own stuff.

Aaron has the right not to watch Bonds, which he should use. Bonds is one of the biggest jerks in sports, and a cheater. I hate how ESPN rides Bonds every single day.

I like watching premier Euro soccer, but MLS sucks. Yeah, they got Beckham, but he's passed his prime. MLS is boring to watch. Doesn't even compare to hockey.

Thats someones opinion just like yours. Bottom Line: they both made mistakes. Inglina had a great shot on Dom, but Dom could have done things to stop it. This stuff happens all the time in hockey. Inglina is going to score, and we are going to make mistakes. Look for a strong game tommorow!!

Maybe...Dom should have been out cutting down the angle, and not be standing in the crease. His positioning also looked a little off. He could have changed some things to prevent it. Lids should have got him, but I put more blame on Hasek. That stuff happens though. Can't play perfect every game.

I totally agree. When Quinn gets interviewed he reminds me way to much of Joey Harrington. He seems like he has a great attitude, and says all the things you want to hear, but every good team he played in college he got his butt whopped on. Plus we don't have a good offensive line. I don't want to take the chance with Peterson. Way more bad things could happen then good if we take him.....

I was listening to sports radio, and they put out a rumor about the Lions. I can't see this rumor happening, but I thought I would share it. Lions trade thier No. 2 pick to TB for Simion Rice, and TB's 4th overall pick. With the 4th pick we can still draft Gaines Adams.

Everyone thinks we will draft Gaines Adams...not a bad pick, but we need a O-line! Draft Joe Thomas with our first pick, and take a D-linemen in round 2...D-line is loaded with talent this year, and there will be guys like Lamaar Woodley still in round 2. Then next year we can draft Broham, Henne, or Brennen when we finally got a offensive line

I was thinking the same thing on Edwards. I would love to get him with our first 2nd rounder. I like Edwards over Stanton too, because with our O-line Drew will be running all over which means: 1)- better chance of getting hurt. 2) Forcing too many throws like you just said. I'll take Stanton or Edwards before Quinn though....
