When Durant gets drafted he should give Stern a kiss. If it wearn't for that new rule about going from High School to the NBA Durant would have got drafted much later, and hardly be playing right now. Instead, he became a superstar in college and is a lock for the No. 1 or No. 2 pick...which means way more $$$$ for him.

Scott McMullen the QB?? Who's Anderson? I played against Kevin Grady, Kelvin Grady, and Ronald Johnson (USC) back in the day. Our school also played against Neitzel a number of times, but I sat safely in the stands while he lit us up

Today Andy Katz said Connelly's dad is starting his own firm so he will be able to be Oden, and Connely's agent. He also said if Connely left he would probably be the first PG taken, and top 10 for sure.

I read that today, and it totally grossed me out...name sounds good though. It's alot better then something like Lloyd Bo. I hope young little Tressel ends up at U-M someday...that would be great!

I think Oden will be drafted 1st as well, but it depends on the teams needs. If the Bobcats or Celtics get the pick I think they will take Durant. I think you have to take Oden...it could be the 2nd coming of Shaq. Like I said worst case scenario for him is No. 2, which is why he should go.

Kiprusoff scares the living heck out of me because we have all seen what happens if he catches lighting in a bottle. I still have great confidence though that this time it will be different, and we will escape in 5 or 6 games.

Ridiculous? He only played in a number of clutch games against Nashville, and when you don't play that much it is much harder then it looks to do. Look this topic isn't saying Ozzie is better then Hasek, or Ozzie should be a starter. It's just stating how he dealt with this year, and his strong play deserves some props.

Last season everytime Ozzie was in the net I would get very nervous. This year though I think he has played extremely well, and has dealt with being a backup very well. We all know he wishes he could start, but when asked he has been very classy, and supportive of Hasek. For the most part he has done the best he could when given the chance to play. If something goes wrong with Dom (pray not) I will still feel confident in our team with Ozzie between the pipes. People on here should be thankful we have one of the best backups in the whole NHL instead of bash him when he makes mistakes. GO WINGS!!!

Very true, but I don't think that will happen because he is at a new job, which gives extra motivation. Right now he is looking for an asistant that has Detroit ties so that should help. Any news on Oden...I actually have a feeling he will stay one more year. Is Connely flirting with the NBA??

I agree, but it sure looks like he is a heck of a coach. A&M was 0-16 in the Big 12 just 3 years ago, and this year they were top 10 most of the year. This will be the first time though he deals with some big time preasure. Good luck in hockey tonight

Tourny is fine with me. Beilein is old...If U-M goes the tourny every year the job will look very appealing when he leaves.

Yeah it sounds like Beilein is parting ways with Patterson so U-M has no chance. Plus he has to try and keep the current recruits on U-M's roster anyway. Kentucky is very hard to compete with. Sounds like they are getting Gillipse from A&M

BC is badass, but without question MSU can beat them. U-M beat them earlier this year so I can't see why MSU can't
