I think Oden is the No. 1 pick. I think Durant has more "potential", but how many big centers like Oden come up in the NBA? Hardly none if you don't count big gumpy guys from Europe. If you draft Oden it's a pretty safe bet you will get 15, and 10 from him right away.

During that game I still was spilt on what I think of Big Ben. The one side of me felt bad that Detroit fans were booing him because you could tell it effected him, and those random offensive rebounds/blocks he gets that gives his team new life (Pistons do miss those) The other side of me felt good he was gone because Webber is way cheaper, and scores more. Plus I do not miss Ben crying like a baby after every whistle because he thinks he is such a all world defensive player. Not to mention it's nice not having him on the line.

Take this for what its worth...Word is that Amaker will be fired after the NIT according to WXYT. This is suprising to me because I thought he would get one more year just because of his incoming recruting class. Although it is still just a rumor...hope its true though

Maybe I will get fried for this, but why did MSU fans storm the court? Yes I know Wisky is No. 1, but in my opinion MSU is still a better basketball program then Wisconson. I thought storming the court was stupid.

I LOVE DAYS OF THUNDER!! That movie made me like Kyle Petty. I met Kyle Petty twice. He's a great guy, and a class act. He reminds me of Tony Dungy, because of his strong faith, and how he dealt with his teenager dying. Kyle is the man, but lets face it...he stinks at driving I also use to like Johnny Benson because he's from my hometown, but he stunk, and now drives trucks. After Kyle leaves I'm not sure who I'll like. I can't like Gordan, Johnson, or JR because thats jumping on the bandwagon. I can't stand Kurt Busch, Kyle Busch, or Kevin Harvick, and I can't become fans of Martin, Jarrett, or Labonte because they are to old (even though I still like them) It's going to be a hard choice for me! I was kind of leaning towards a guy like McMurray, Kahne, Truek, Sadler, or someone like that

Oh you're going to have to choose a favorite driver then! Be careful and select a good one. When I was 5 years old I picked Kyle Petty because he had a cool Mellow Yellow car. I still love the guy, but I wish he would just retire so I can pick a new one! Oh, and since you're watching the next five races. Here is a tip to enjoy NASCAR on TV- -- You watch the first 50-75 laps. Then take a nap...when you wake up there should be about 100 left. I've done it all my life. It's great!

I see your point, and understand why people like the crashes (I do too), but if you took restricter plates off at Talledaga, and Daytona a driver or fan could seriousley die. A car could flip right over without any other car touching him when you're going that fast. It happens once in a while when people race funny cars, and thats going only a 1/4 of a mile.

Watching that game brought nightmares back to me when Neitzel would tear my school apart with his circus shots, and game breaking baskets. It was a good game to watch.

I see where you are coming from, but I think NASCAR made the right choice by letting them race. I have to agree with BRed on that one. The finish was very exciting. The only reason I wanted them to call caution right away was so Mark Martin would win, and not Harvick (who's a jerk). Formula One sucks. When I was ten years old I went to MIS with my dad to watch some type of Indy car racing and it sucked! You can't even see the cars go past you. There is a reason why Indy races are empty (besides the Indy 500), and NASCAR packs 200,000+ every single race. As for cop cars...SCREW THAT!! I'm a criminal justice student, and the cars we got now are fine! The Chevy/Ford police cars haul ass. Plus most police stations now have jacked up cars such as Dodge Chargers, Chevy Camaroes, and Ford Mustangs for the high speed stuff.

Funny thing is Toyota Camerys are the only Nascar made in America. Dogde Chargers are made in Mexico, and the Fushison/Monte Carlo are made in Canada. Still don't like them though

I was going to post a Daytona 500 thread yesterday, but I didn't think there was enough intrest here. As for me I love Nascar! It was the first sport I started watching when I was little. I've been to 4 Nextel Cup races (MIS 3 times, and the Brickyard 400 once). If you ever get the chance to go to a Nextel Cup race I guarentee you will be hooked. Its 100X better being there then on TV. You will have a blast for sure! As for Toyota: I agree. I hope they all suck even though I think Dale Jarrett is a great guy
