You're exactly right. As a goalie who played Juinor A that has been yelled in my ear many times. You should post this about Hasek, but you would get killed on this site.

This is stupid. The NHL needs to get the U.S. more excited about hockey then Europe. If the NHL was having the same sucess as the NFL/MLB I would be fine to go around the world, but we should concentrete on our own turf first.

I disagree. Mac is a very hard worker, and well respected by other Wings. He was fantasitic in GR. You will have some growing pains when you enter the NHL. Plus besides the Umberger goal how many did Mac have an honest chance on? None

You're right about their returning players. As for losing Brown they should be okay there too. Jordan Pierce (sp), their backup was a very highly rated goalie coming out of juinors.

I'm really starting to get that "feeling" for the Pistons again. The addition of Webber has been huge. His passing is amazing. I think we are still missing a piece though. We need to trade for a PG like Morris Peterson or someone. Maybe we could get Chucky Atkins again....

This scares me... University of Michigan defensive coordinator Ron English is interviewing for the Vikings vacancy today with coach Brad Childress, Adam Schein of Sirius NFL Radio reports. English was the defensive coordinator of the Wolverines last season, and he was the secondary coach for two seasons before that. He served as the secondary coach for the Seattle Seahawks in 2003. Schein said that English is the front-runner for the job, if they can agree to a contract. Last year, English agreed to become the Chicago Bears defensive backs coach, but backed out when Wolverines head coach Lloyd Carr offered him the defensive coordinator position. English is thought to be a potential replacement for Carr at Michigan. The timing of this is curious since National Signing Day is Wednesday. For instance, several high-profile high school students already have verbally committed to Michigan. In fact, Boubacar Cissoko, a junior at Detroit's Cass Tech High School, mentioned English by name in a recent report. "Ron English said I could come in and have a chance to start," Cissoko told the Ann Arbor News. "I want a chance to play."

I wouldn't worry about FSU. O'Keefe has been in a slump in goal (he's the only reason why FSU tied MSU earlier this year) Now they are trying to motivate him by putting MacIntyre in net. If Mac is net against MSU (50/50 chance) you will be fine.
