    College Football

I would bet money that I have watched the most college football here. I agree that Michigan wasn't 4 points away from a NC. But just because a U-M fan here thinks that it doesn't mean that I think that as well. Yes, they were close to getting to the NC game, but playing FLA would be a very hard test. The reason I brought Penn State in is because Happy Valley is one of the hardest places to play in the nation, and they just beat Tennessee. Whats wrong with a man among boys? Duh Henne isn't the best QB in the nation, but he's the 2nd best QB in the Big Ten, and has to be top 5 in the nation. Yeah my avator is arrogant, but it's just all for fun. I don't see you mocking people who had the avator "In Drew (Stanton) we trust". It's also very mature calling me a "U-M slappy" since you have not been in here all year. If you would read I try my best to be respectful to Chamber, Timothy, and HTRW about their views on U-M, OSU, and MSU. I respect them because they also respect me, and I enjoy reading the thoughts of other fans, and also respect their passion for MSU/OSU.

What a horrible way to end the year. They didn't even show up to play. Morgan Trent played like complete crap along with the other DB's. If you pressure Booty you will win, and they didn't do that even though it's the strength of the team. I agree with the thought of replacing Deboard as the O-coordinator...It won't happen though because it's his first season doing it, and his record as U-M's OC is something like 44-6 Name a big time team that doesnt have a easy non conference schedule? If you schedule one good football team for a non conference game I call it good. (U-M had ND, which I'm sure you "forgot", and OSU had Texas) Out of many?? Dumbest thing I've ever read. Beat PSU at Happy Valley, beat Wisky, and ND in South Bend. Plus Carr is 16-7 vs. top 10 teams. Good try though Get out of here Zetterburg..your post was totally pointless, and you havent been in here for any college football talk all year...... Very good question. I don't know. I know Carr isn't the best coach in the world, but like him or not he does know his X's and O's very well about football. I know Carr has the team ready to play, but I would be lying if I said Carr was a better coach then Tressel or Carrol. 2003: USC was HANDS DOWN better then U-M. U-M was a better team then OSU in my opinion 2005: OSU is the better team. USC though I thought we let slip away...

Jarrett and Smith scare the living crap out of me. I know Leon Hall will take care of one, but the other one will be a for sure advantage for USC. U-M's front line will need to attack Booty before he can look deep.

Big 10 play so far has made me sick. Hopefully PSU, U-M, and OSU can finish out strong

The Lions have to get Joe Thomas. The guy is a stud, and our line SUCKS! I could see the Lions trading down though, and then draft some guys on defense because Mareneli wants to build the team around that.

No excuses here. If Johnson/Cogliano would have played we still would have probably lost because MSU totally out played U-M last night

or Cogliano, but MSU didn't have Abdelkater either (wow I choped his name bad!)

You're right, but it's 3 bowls to many for me. Lets hope it stops in only a few more days! Anyone watch FSU-UCLA? Talk about a let down for UCLA

I don't dislike Delfino. It just looks to me that he doesn't fit in.... That game was fun to watch, but there is nothing worse then losing to the Knicks

Thats great! I shouldn't laugh though because we're starting to build a winless bowl streak too

    NCAA Basketball Season

Yes he does. You're right he started with nothing. All he had was a bunch of losers who got in trouble (like Avery Queen) I apreciate Amaker for cleaning up the team, and making it respectable, but this team should make the tournement. On paper U-M is better then MSU this year, but if they played tommorow MSU would win for sure. If U-M goes 6-9 in the Big 10 (which is what I think) how can you let him stay around? Maybe I'm wrong though...U-M has a very good recruiting class coming in next year (Legion, Harris, Grady), and last year's was also very solid (Morris, Udoh, Sims). Plus they are going to re-model Crisler and that can only help the appeal of U-M basketball.

Wooooow U-M sucks! That game was my final straw with Amaker. I give him credit for cleaning the program big time, and making it respectable but it's time to move on.

Bench is key here. I love Maxiel/McDyess. In my opinion it looks like Delfino isn't really a team player. Just looks like he's out there for himself. A lot of people think he will be traded by the end of the year, but we will see.

Is Troy Smith even a 1st rounder? He's only 6'0 I think. I would draft him, but not no. 1 overall....

I hate Brady Quinn. If the Lions take him I will be happy, because I know he will have a horrible career. In all honesty though Brady Quinn is overated, and would die (literally) with our OL. We need to draft Joe Thomas from Wisconson. Then after next season we can draft Brohm, Henne, or some other QB who joins in on the scene. Hows Orvolsky been? If he is improving we may not even need to draft a QB in the near future...

Fords are so stupid! How about us LGWers all pitch in money, and buy the Lions. Then we can fire Matt Millen, bench Kitna, and draft Joe Thomas. Hopefully we can turn this ship around in 5 years or so...

I HAAAAATTTTE LOU HOLTZ!!!!!! SOOOO BIASED TOWARDS ND!! Plus you can't understand a word he says!! I bet 10 bucks ESPN hired a bum, and all he has to do is carry a mop and clean up Holtz's slobber when the camera goes to Mark May. I didn't think it was possible to hire someone worse then Trev Alberts, but ESPN once again does something stupid!

I agree on Maxiel 110%. What a clutch shot he hit when Billups suprised everyone and dished off to Maxiel from about 15 feet away with less then a minute left. He reminds me so much of Ben Wallace from how he hustles, and goes up for any board.

U-M thinks Rogers is their biggest sleeper in their class this year. He was the fastest player at their camp in the 100 yard sprints. He'll red shirt next season so he can learn how to be a WR.

    CCHA Hockey

U-M is in a big time slump right now. I can't see it getting better when they lose 3-4 players to the World Juinor Championships. I watched both FSU vs. LSSU games this past weekend, and hands down Jakatis is the best goalie in the CCHA. He stopped 50/51 night one, and 43/44 the next. I looked his stats up, and his save % is 2nd in the nation.
