    I dunno, Tay was like 4-15 shooting against the Nets the other night. But I like Curry's idea of having him out there leading the reserve unit. I don't think there's a bench player in the league that can guard him.

    Was glad to see there was a roaring ovation for Iverson. Detroit fans are good like that. Same as with Sheed, if AI comes in and plays his ass off like he does, Pistons fans appreciate that more than any other fans in the league. Players can come to Detroit with a clean slate.

    It will take some time to adjust when you lose your starting PG for the last half of decade. From watching the Stones this year I also think we need Dice back. I'm fairly confident he will be back, but I read today Boston is interested, and that concerns me. From watching so far I like what A.I. brings. When he gets used to everything there will be games when he takes total control over the game, and we haven't seen that in a long, long time.

    I suddenly just realized an interesting bowl scenario for MSU.

    -Lets say that Penn State and Ohio State win the rest of their games.

    -Penn State goes to the BCS games as well as Ohio State, that leaves Michigan State heading to the Capital one bowl game.

    -Alabama and Florida battle for the SEC but Florida wins the SEC championship, sending Florida to the BCS and Bama to the Capital One Bowl.

    -Alabama & Nick Saban plays Michigan State in the Capital One Bowl. :yowza:

    I dont even think i made a big stretch either for this prediction.

    That is good stuff right there, and you're right it isn't really a stretch. Interesting.....

    So that's who that was! I was there too, Little Bar, and I see this big ass dude walk in dressed like that. Guess I should have figured it was an offensive lineman since Alex Boone was there, as himself, which is beastly enough.

    EDIT: If it's the same one I remember thinking that girl was really hott. Yeesh, beer goggles.

    I bet she looked real good with the googles on. Most do on halloween!

    Word on the street is Mangino dressed as Justin Boren for Halloween :lol:

    Edit: The Nugs roll into town in March. Chauncey deserves nothing less than a roaring standing O when the time comes and I expect him to get it. One thing (of many) that I like about Detroit fans is we always show our appreciation for our former players like Chauncey and Pudge.

    I agree on treating Chauncey like gold when he returns. He was the man.

    As for King James....1) I posted that link already...now I know you don't read anything I write :lol: . 2) It is a fascinating article. I really think it's still a long shot, but wow Joe D is really shooting for the stars, and I love it. If LeBron isn't playing in NY, or CLE in 2 years it will be with us. Imagine the PR skills the Stones could use with him: Bring the King to the Palace! etc, etc.

    i mean its just "PRACTICE" not the real game....."PRACTICE" this guy is a idiot i cant see how anyone says this is a good trade.mark my words HE WILL NOT fit in here in detroit.

    Your not looking at the big picture though. What's the worst that can happen? We won't make it to the finals? It's not like were suppose to come out of the East anyway, but with A.I. we get some hunger back for a ring, we probably will get Dice back, and lets say this explodes in our face we have 36 million dollars of free cap to go after Bosh, Amari, or someone else who is a big time free agent.

    Wow, not a fan of this trade. Everyone I know who follows basketball agrees that he's a selfish ball hog who has the potential to screw up the dressing room. And who could forget the classic "practice" video? Totally didn't see this one coming. I'm gonna miss Chancey and 'Dyess, but here's hoping that AI can be the "Answer" the Pistons need.

    I can see where your coming from, but a lot of this A.I. talk is same the same talk Pistons fans said when we got Sheed. I know the opinions from a lot of people are starting to change on Sheed, but you can't deny it worked out for the best.

    I agree with you Timothy I don't know how this is going to help the team, but with that said I LOVE this trade. Smith said A.I. wants to here, because he wants a ring. We need that chip back on our shoulders, and hunger back. Plus if it doesn't work out we get tons of cap room from A.I's contract (plus Sheed's for that matter). According to some people next summer will be the best NBA FA pool ever with Kobe, Lebron, Wade, Bosh, Stodimarrie, ect looking for the big bucks.

    ahh where to begin (the snootiness of Michigan fans never ceases to amaze)....

    I said John Cooper II for a reason. DickRod will have some great teams at Michigan. But he will blow a game every year while he is there too. That is almost EXACTLY what John Cooper did.

    Winning exhibition BCS bowls is great, but I THOUGHT (Funny me) that Michigan hired him to win National Championships. He WON'T do that. He'll blow a game against Northworstern or Purdidn't or any of those just like he found ways to lose to Pitt and to Rutgers.

    The snootiness? Give me a damn break! I give props to your old ball coach, and it's snooty?

    Of course U-M hired Rodriquez to win National Championships isn't that what every single major college football coaches job is? The fact is though it is extremely difficult to win National Championships in football, and you not only have to play great football every week, but you also have to get extremely lucky. Auburn was 13-0 a few years back, and didn't even get a shot at the title. Sometimes the 2 best teams are not even playing in the title game.

    I'll take a BCS bowl everyday of the week.

    While there is absolutely no way Michigan stays THIS bad, RichRod has never won any type of jewelry. Expecting him to do so even at Michigan is a bit of a stretch.

    You are just setting yourself up. You have John Cooper II as your head coach.

    He'll have some absolutely great teams in terms of talent, but they will find a way to choke a game or two away every year just like his teams at WVU did.

    Ahhh where to begin? John Cooper 2? I think it's a joke OSU fans label other coaches "John Cooper 2", and are always ripping him. Cooper was a dang good football coach. The numbers don't lie. Yes, his record was horrible against Michigan, but thats his only flaw. Rodriquez has Big East rings, and his teams let Georgia, and Oklahoma have it. You can say what you want about the Big East, and I do agree it is nothing special, but the conference has had some real good football teams, and has had some good coaches come out of it in Rodriquez, Petrino, Dantonio, and soon to be Brian Kelly, Esdall (sp?), and maybe Schiano if PSU wants him.

    As for the Michigan game Saturday it looks like Rodriquez is already at the crossroads with his defensive coordinator. Thats the risk you take when you hire someone you don't know, and just base it off their previous stops. If there is no change next year I won't be very happy.

    I got no problem with the excitement, and trash talking from MSU fans it is well deserved, but lets say U-M beat OSU and they made shirts I would be embarrassed.

    My final word on the billboard/shirt (PS I will try and find the billboard link right now) is Dantonio himself said "Pride comes before the fall". Billboards, and shirts show a lot of pride don't they??
