Starting in the 2018/2019 season Ericsson has a 19 team no trade list, Even retaining money that's going to be pretty hard trading him when there's only 12 teams that he will even accept a trade to. No way're we dealing Mantha for an elite D it would probably take both Larkin and Mantha to acquire an elite D that's just not happening not sure what elite D out there i would be willing to give up Mantha for not too many.

Larkin will be the eventual team Captain, Probably once Z retires and leaves don't see Mantha as C material.

Mantha is a beast 19 games played 10 goals 9 assists for 19 points that's a point per game Larkin with 18 points in 19 games on 3 goals and 15 assists get out the checkbook for these two next summer.

Wow that's great so next year we can deal him to any team we like and he has no say. That's even better retain some and get a better pick.

What? Howard has zero leverage next season in the trade process, Got news for you he has a 10 team list that he can be traded to that sounds like quite a bit of leverage to me.

Cap should increase by $2 million or $3 million on top of Franzen LTIR that should give Detroit pretty close to $20 million right there AA gets maybe $3 million if he comes on strong Larkin and Mantha probably $4.5 million each and Mrazek will get his qualifying offer of $4.15 million or so that's already about $16 million with 4 players Svechnikov, Rasmussen, Cholowski, Bertuzzi all have a shot to make the team next season and are cheap we should be fine.

We've $13 million in cap, The cap will at least increase by $2 million plus Franzen on LTIR is close to $19 million right there and i almost bet that Mrazek isn't resigned he'll have to post a Vezina type season for Holland to resign him We'll be just fine.

I know they said that DDK would be out another 10-21 days a few days ago and it's around 10 days now so hopefully he's about ready to return here shortly.

Yeah the guy is only 30 years old, He's not retiring any time soon. A great complete team win by the boys, 10 shots by Larkin probably his best complete game. -

Totally agree look at what happened with Colorado last year from #1 overall to #4 overall that would be just our luck as well.

Totally agree pretty sure they're scouting Kyle Turris. Bruce Garrioch was also speculating that both Nyquist and Helm could be on the trading block as well, So we shall see. -
We can only hope maybe Goose as well.
