Thanks for that. Guess he was missing part of a season anyway no matter what and they felt the timing was better this way. its disappointing that he wont be at training camp tho.

Yeah. Except my response here was literally an attempt at playful humor. Hence the multiple uses of "literally". It was meant to literally be friendly banter as so many of us do in here. I do it all the time, and I think (or at least I hope) most posters understand that. This site is a brotherhood in some respects, and a little bit of harmless ribbing between us from time to time makes things more fun. But posting things just to be a d**k isnt fun at all and ruins the experience for everyone else. I wasnt intentionally trying to literally troll anyone or belittle anyone, unlike you and mackel in ur recent comments. Theres a big difference between trying to make things fun and being a jerk. I think most people understand that.

I think its one of those deals where he cant make the injury any worse by playing, and delaying the surgery doesnt push the recovery time into next season. If thats the case, then whatevs.
-
No. Thank you for being a troll. Nowhere did I "explain" anything. Just adding to the conversation on a slow news day. Maybe I should degrade Zadina on every post I make. That never gets old.

If you literally just Google Jim Devellano, its literally the first thing listed under the search results. You literally spent more effort starting this thread lol. I mean literally. Lol. Literally.

It means he's a tough mammer jammer in the mold of Kronwall or Zetterberg. I want a guy with that kind of desire to play and will power.

Tom Brady is the most overrated QB in NFL history. The Patriots went 11-5 with Matt Cassel in 2008, a guy who was a career backup. The teams average under Brady is 12 and 4. If Brady is really so great, the team should have fallen off the cliff that season without him, much like the Colts did in 2012 without Peyton Manning. They didn't. Why? Because its a successful team and system who could win with a lesser QB. Brady's numbers and accomplishments have always been inflated by the teams he's played for. Switch teams with him and Manning and the Pats win 2 more Super Bowls and the Colts dont win any. He shouldn't even be in the conversation for greatest of all time. He is an above average QB who fell into the perfect scenario to pad his stats. -

Giselle's body is so overrated. Her face is beautiful tho. -
Good things he's retired then. It would've been banned soon. Xenophobe I think AK27 was for Alexei Kovalev 27. That said, it would have been cool if he wore #47. Then he could have been called AK-47 and it would have worked even better since the Kalashnikovs are also Russian.

If Byram was gone at 6th, I would consider trading back and drafting him...but there's no way I take him at 6 even if Byram is gone. -

Byram is way better than Broberg. Any GM who takes him at 6 if Byram is available should be fired immediately. -

We've always had a great sense of humor over here. Unfortunately, the other side was too busy crying, marching, name calling, and being offended to notice.

Holland was good at RFA contracts -

I agree. I don't think Holland ever made Blashill play anyone because of their contracts. Like it or not, the guys who are overpaid (Abby, Helm, Daley, etc) are still better than guys like Ehn, Frk, Witkowski, Hicketts, Sulak...thats why they got to play, not because Ken was micro managing the lineup. -
The one who's not a crybaby, diving, d-bag. So his right hand grip is stronger than his left hand grip. Hmmmm. Do they test for blindness?

2019 Offseason Rebuild Thread, Pt. 2 - What's the Yzerplan?
Neomaxizoomdweebie replied to Dabura's topic in General
Over ripening never turned top 6 F and top pair D into bottom 6 F and bottom pair D. The weaker results from our prospect pool is a result of having later draft picks, trading away prospects, and individual player talents. The only player who was ever held down who was arguably both NHL ready and better at his position than other players already on the roster was Nyquist. Bringing up a player too soon is more likely to damage a player's development than leaving them down too long. At worst, over ripening results in a zero gain in development, not a regression. -

I would guess Berggren was their pick at 30. -
Phoenix Coyotes To Be Renamed Arizona Coyotes

So maybe Bettman was right? -
There are several players that I would be happy with, but my top 3 are Byram, then Podholzin, then Cozens. Honestly, if none of those 3 are available at 6 (doubtful) I look to trade back a few spots, acquire another 2nd and then draft BPA.
-
He's still under contract. In the KHL. As a 17 yo. As long as the prospect camp in June or training camp in September don't interfere with his Russian commitments, there's no reason to assume that he won't be attending either.

Hope anyone but the CST is right.
