A smart GM trades a player when he knows he can get the most back. You dont expedite a trade because u fear an injury. They're completely unpredictable. What is clownland? Is that where eating pasta is an insult?

? Green had a NTC. He controlled where and if/when he was traded. Then he got injured. Can't fault Holland for that. And the TDL is exactly when u trade rental players. Teams are clamoring to bolster their rosters and pay more. Waiting until the TDL was the smart move then and will be again this season (assuming Green waives his NTC).

Just giving my thoughts on what I think will happen, or not happen. Doesnt mean I personally agree or disagree with it. If there was an option to buyout without penalty, I would consider it. There isnt. No love for Abby here. Just a more balanced opinion of him. Abby isnt the only one not living up to his contract and/or is overpaid. But Abby is the only one u fixate on.

Nielsen? Possibly. Abby? No. He wears an "A". And he wears it for a reason. Regardless of who the GM is, he's not getting bought out. In 4 years, with salary inflation, his contract wont be out of line with what 3rd liners make. No reason to buy him out then.

Nope. He went from playing with kids to playing against the best in the world without even having filled out his frame yet. I don't know what people expect. He's gonna take a little bit longer to develop. Give the kid a break.
