Early in his career, he was getting parts with a little more variety. But by the late 80's, he was pretty much only playing angry, jaded old men with varying facial grimaces.

Seider will have a half dozen Norris trophies on his mantle when he retires. Hughes likely wont have any trophies at all. Generational dman > all star 1C all day long.

How to define if you think an actor is good? If you go to see a movie because they're in it. I have never gone to see a movie BECAUSE Jack was in it. I went to see a movie AND Jack was in it. He was way too old to play Joker in Batman. He reminded me of Cesar Romero's Joker. Not dark enough. More clown than villain. Heath Ledger and Joaquin Phoenix were both better. Jack maybe beats out Leto.

How is the Leddy trade his worst? He gave up a 2nd and Panik. SY will probably get a 2nd back when he trades Leddy at the TDL and he still got Leddy's services and mentoring for a season and a half. And he got rid of Panik's contract too. He didn't lose anything in that trade. The Fabbri, Mantha, and Ned trades could all be considered his best.

There are still a lot of people saying Hughes would go first. He has been hot lately.

Having cancer, he will be lucky to get drafted unless there is assurance that he is in long term remission. Even then, he would probably go late to a team willing to take the risk.

Chychrun would cost Zadina plus. I dont like the idea of giving up picks yet. Valimaki doesnt excite me and we already have solid D prospects coming up. Ottawa is another up and coming team, I dont see them trading away a young talent. Kravtsov may never play in NA. DeBrusk is the only one I would consider.

I still see potential in Zadina. I dont see any flaws in his game that cant be improved on thru hard work and experience. He may not ever achieve his full potential, but I am not ready to give up on 22 yo just yet.

Why do people think Jack is a good actor? He plays the same character over and over. Just with varying degrees of cynicism.

I like Fabbri. He has peaked tho. Zadina still has the potential to be better. May not happen, but worth the risk. Fabbri is not a building block. Still better to keep the guy who could be.

Being as Zadina and Fabbri are similar players at this point, and Zadina is several years younger with room to grow, I would still pick him if I had to choose. That said, if SY can get a good return, a player should be traded.

I dont think Bert gets traded. He is too well liked by his teammates, and trading him just opens up another hole to fill. That would be a bad decision.

Ras was in the AHL forever. Leaving him down longer wouldn't have changed anything. He just isn't that good. I dont think Zadina would be dominating down there either. He just needs more time. Veleno should stay down permanently. I really wanted to keep Svech. He kinda reminds of a younger, cheaper Namestnikov.
