Disagree totally. The only 2 I can think of that I believe have used coke are Probert and McCarty. Disagree. Never been around anyone who does drugs. At all. Including marijuana. Have an in law that has a drug past, but keep my distance. Only have one smoker that I would consider a friend. People can do what they want, but anyone who indulges in illegal substances just isn't someone I want anything to do with. Getting caught shouldnt be their concern. The fact that its banned, illegal, unsportsmanlike, dishonorable, and unhealthy should be enough to prevent any player from touching the stuff. As per usual.

To be fair, I dont think Seider will be captain. 1. When he makes the team, he will likely be the youngest player on it. 2. He would be the only player on the roster from his country. 3. He's a defenseman, which is a less "flashy" position. Yes, there have been captains who met one or even 2 of these points. But I think all 3 work against him. I still think Larkin gets it. Because each generation feels the need to "change the world". Traditions and customs get tossed aside for being too outdated, and society changes to suit the views of the up and coming generation. So they can never be seen as "normal" by older generations because they arrogantly and unapologetically seek what they see as "change", even tho it's usually just a new attempt at past societal failures. And the world, as a whole, isn't really any better off, just the people who benefit from that generation's "change" are. Rinse and repeat.
