That's fair, I was being a little outlandish. I think AA's end of season interview really rubbed me the wrong way. Sounded like a 16yr old spoiled brat who didn't get what he wanted and just shrugged his shoulders. Sometimes the Lefty side comes out of me

I don't get where the excessive love for AA comes from. Do people just think we'd be selling low? He's our best piece to trade for a defencemen. I think Dabura was bang on when he compared his value to Kapanens. Middle 6 versatile winger with speed.

We are in dire need of a solid goaltending prospect.

Tippett would have done better...

Are you saying they're intechangable just because of their weights/heights and don't really know much else about them? Because they are all quite different... -
Mrazek traded to Philly for Conditional 3rd and 4th Picks

Wow you really don't get it do you? You implied he was less of a person/player/whatever because he was homosexual. That's a problem, even as a "joke". -
I don't think you understand how the rankings work. 10th ranked EUROPEAN.

Maybe you should manage your expectations a little and not expect us to hit on every single pick. -

Should The Wings Re-Sign Mike Green?
RightWeiner replied to ChristopherReevesLegs's topic in General
We're not going to have multiple defensive prospects in the press box. If they're not in the top 6, they will be in the minors where they should be. Better to have Lashoff/Russo/Sulak in those 7/8 spots. If we carry 8. Which we won't. -
Dekeyser, Ericsson, Daley, Kronwall, Ouellete, Jensen, Green, *Witkowski, *Hicketts *Hronek How is there a spot? Rasmussen, Svechnikov, Turgeon up front. Is there an echo in here?
-
That first Moose jersey makes me think of the "Anaheim Mighty Moose". Down right hideous.
-
1. Green will be re-signed. Holland has essentially said so and the feelings seem mutual. 2. Coreau will not be re-signed. Holland has essentially said this and has said he will explore the UFA goalie market. 3. Rasmussen, Hicketts, Svechnikov and Turgeon are the guys we're likely to see next year. Some for more, some for less. Almost all these topics are covered in Holland's end-of-season presser. Surprised you haven't watched it with all these questions. I recommend you check it out. Hear it right from the horses mouth. Now obviously all that could change depending on what happens at the draft and leading up to the season.

I actually think the current Jets jersey is one of the best new jerseys in a long time.
-
Right but I think there's a lot different expectations from a Top 10 pick and a 3rd round over ager. Geekie is a year older than Rasmussen and in Junior that means alot.
-
Is he that highly regarded? I'll be honest, I'd never even heard of him before this year. He was passed over in his draft year and when he was finally drafted last year, it wasnt until the 3rd round. Not to mention he actually had less points this year than last. Exceptional playoffs of course. You guys are acting like he's a blue-chipper though.

AA for Geekie

This guy gets it.

Man you still don't get it...

It's not. The coach has him and Geekie together for their incredible chemistry, despite the fact theyre both centerman. It has nothing to do with how good of a centerman he is. -
Except they haven't been owned by the Teachers Pension fund for about 7 years.
-
In the average draft... This is supposed to be one of the deepest in years. I think trading a 1st in this draft would be extremely short sighted. It would have to be an absolute homerun.

If youre going to quote someone then quote them. Don't change the words. Admit fault? Not really. Booth and probably Ouellete will come out. Svech/Turgeon and Hicketts in. Not exactly Earth shattering "admit your fault" moves.
