Hronek a lil stinky tonight -
How can you say a 20 year old who, since his call up is 2nd on the team in points (one behind Larkin), and in just 18 games played is already 4th on the team in GAR on the year? You're totally bonkers. Like ******* mental.

Never close the door on any medium or source of information, no matter how much they drive you nuts. It's what I tell myself everyday before coming here. -

Apparently Paul Woods mentioned it on Sunday's broadcast. But I'm stealing this info from someone over in the WiiM comments section. -

I guess I look at all of this as follows. In this order - GTFO: 1. The NHL all star game. Is stupid 2. Brian Burke. Is stupid 3. Larkin. Was stupid. -

Max and Prashanth were podding yesterday over at The Athletic about how Seider's probably been the best D-man in the tournament but won't make the all star team because the Germans faired so poorly. It's too bad.
-
Meh. I'm no nationalist. Someone else was questioning the leadership of Veleno and Hayton here earlier. Those two have responded well to early gaffs. Alas Zegras and co. get no second act. Just pointing this out. In my polite Canadian way.
-
I'm aware. US laid an egg.
-
Hopefully not entirely based on this tournament.
-
Fair enough.
-
Why? He's almost a year younger (10 months) than Lafreniere, who only had one point a year ago at the WJHCs at basically the same age.
-
Americans are toast. As questionable as Canada's leadership group was early in this tourney, at least they're not the US. Where were "Goal" Caufield and Trevor "Better than Seider" Zegras today?
-
Montreal, of course. This is how the top 7 will look Montreal Chicago Ottawa Ottawa Ottawa Ottawa New York Devils

Of course Hackin' St James left out the part where Larkin thanked the fans, and then laughed after asking them not to vote for him. Classic her. FWIW Blashill, Redmond, and Daniels all agree that a break is a good idea for Larkin.
