Yeah. I have 50$ that says good management would find a way to exploit the the GP. I think the NHL should do a 3 tier lottery. Bottom 5 finish? You can move up or down but no lower than 5th Middle 5 (6 - 10)? Move up or down but no higher than 6th, no lower than 10th Top 5 (11 - 15) You get it. That way some dickhead teams get a carrot. Just a smaller one. -
Wouldn't the upper bowls of sports infrastructures be a good place to hang if mass flooding occurred?

It will. In a couple years. Just in time to box Detroit out of pulling a Philly, Carolina, Chicago style lottery leap into the top 3. Would this still allow tanking earlier to get to that "elimination" finish line quicker? Also, it might screw with the trade deadline a bit too? You all know my thoughts on AA as #2C. It would be great if Veleno can get there. Normally I'm 100% BPA, but I think we need to take the best play-making center that's available. If Dach's game compares to Thorton then he could be our guy. Or Zegras. I'd be "fine" with Turcotte or Cozens as well I just think this team lack elite playmakers. Or, if Byram's still there, take him.

It's a war of attrition. Just keep hammering away at these drafts. Impatient fans want the quick fix and I get it. But the more likely path to success is to just keep doing what we're doing.
