It's says whichever team's pick (Florida or SJ) is "lower" at season's end. Does lower mean closer to 3rd round or closer to 1st. When I hear x was traded for a "low" 2nd rounder I think closer to 3rd round. Someone must confirm what all this means -

I guess I'm just a spiteful, petty, ******* but I would probably rather loose Nyquist for nothing on July 1st then give him away to San Jose to help their cause. But Ken Holland is a good GM and probably got what he could in a buyers market that's been flooded by a bunch of pretty good forwards. -
Well I guess it's a good job the fate of the franchise is not in his hands alone. It's also cool that you just described the worst-case scenario and even that is fine with me. Except for the part where you cry. This makes me sad. Poor CRL.
