I'm not baiting him. I LGWs love @krsmith17. I really do. I have a lot of respect for his opinion. But he can really latch on to a player.

Rasmussen would have been into his man there. Guaranteed. Plus he's 19. Mantha, at this point, at 24 years of age, is what he is. And that play is what he is. That play is just fundamental hockey. If he doesn't get it by now, he never will. Stop being such a homer.

Never on a true contender. Sorry to say. Unless this team is lights out everywhere else. I know LGWs have debated Larkin 's ceiling ad nauseum. Last night I watched Mathews and Tavares play. And then this team. Etc.
