All I can think is that they have such high hopes for this unicorn man that they want him to destroy the AHL first. Also the Wings are finally playing well defensively. Unless things get really dicey let Edvinsson play 25 minutes a night in GR.

He missed ONE game for a non-game related disciplinary issue. Prob late for something. For comparison, Walman also face similar punishment last year for the same type of thing. -

My man, there was nothing unsuccessful about Alfredsson's single season in Detroit. That's all I'm saying. He produced and the team made the playoffs. I should only hope things go that well for Kane. Anyway, I don't really care about this and I'm not trying to be a pizz-baby. So carry on. agreed. Because of injuries to Z and Datsyuk.

Do you remember the Alfredsson season? He led the team in points. 18G/31A. Dragged them into the playoffs. Zetterberg and Datsyuk were very unhealthy for the 2nd half of that season. Richards and Modano were total failures tho for sure.

Keep everyone and push. Sign Ghost for your 3 year 4.5M/year deal BUT then you absolutely need do something with one of Maatta + Holl + Petry + Chiarot to make room for Edvinsson. Or you trade Edvinsson for a young top 6 forward if he's not part of the plan. Something's has to give obvisously, but I don't like the idea of losing Ghost's offence.

Obvi, but not what I'm saying. I'm talking about the fact that 'Husso looks bad Lyon looks good' probably being a product of usage no? If Lyon (or Reimer) had played Husso's minutes we'd be cursing them too right now. If you were to pick the two best goalies and go 50/50 then Ville would probably have to be one of em despite his poor start. I say send Reimer to Utah and tell him to pray for expansion.
