Zero problems signing Kane as long as he's not gifted a spot in the top 6. But if he's healthy and still good he'd earn that spot quickly. Also any one of Larkin, Compher or Copp should be able to help cover his azz defensively.

Don't get me wrong. This team is going to loose lots of games I'm sure. And it'll prob be because of injuries and/or goaltending. I just don't see them getting "rocked" very often this year. Unless you just meant beat vs beat bad.

Meh. Just because he might like to play in Detroit doesn't mean Yzerman would want him. Perhaps for the reasons you listed. Personally, I think a line of Sprong - Veleno - Kane would be great. Would he take 3rd line minutes though or want to slot higher with his BFF? That would be a problem for me.

Anyone else see that Dvorsky is coming to NA? Sudbury OHL Not because he's awesome but because he apparently is not. 0G 0A in 10 games in the SHL. Barely breached 2 minutes ice time total in his last 2 games. Which one of you goons wanted him at 9 in this spring's draft again? I know it was someone.

Well let's break it down: Lombardi playing in the NHL at all = expectations met Kasper middle 6C with high end compete and championship caliber jam = expectations met Danielsson playmaking 200 ft 2C = expectations met These are observed expectations by me. Not what I expect. Odds are, only one of these guys makes it (relative to what I've outlined above)
