You all about draft hype all of a sudden?

So. I just did 98 draft to 2018 draft looking at 6OA. 0.45 PPG is your average. Zadina is at 0.43 PPG Tkachuk, Zibanejad, and Monahan are your real winners at 0.8, 0.74, 0.72 PPG respectively. Losers like Upshall. Finley and Fata are in the 0.19 to 0.28 PPG range. Gagner is 0.53 PPG. Maybe the Zadina conversation should be more about fan expectations vs the reality of NHL drafting. I dunno....

I wish I had a stat for average career point production for a 6OA pick. But I don't. How many current NHL teams does Zadina crack the top 9 of? All of them?

If I'm a Boston fan I'd look inward to that time in 2015 when my team had picks 13, 14, and 15 OA and only managed to come away with Jake DeBrusk.

Clearly Rasmussen was out there to either win the draw or for D zone coverage. As soon as the puck entered Buffalo's end, he went to the bench. He was out again a shift later forth same reason. Why do you think Veleno deserved to start OT? He didn't do a whole lot last night. -

Gon loose to Buffalo. If I'm Bertuzzi I'd be a little harder on the back check there. Dumb penalty by Veleno in the O zone. PP goal Buffalo. And the Wings have now given 1st goals of the year to Marner, Bergeron, and now Dahlin. -
He had a promising year last year and is off tonal bad start. I'm not drawing any conclusions just yet.
