This is truly incredible when you think about it.

Kronwall never Kronwalled anyone after a play was over. This puck was going in. The hit was unnecessary. You keep ignoring me when I say this. I've said it three times now. Also, Kronwall took 2 steps into a guy and was usually mostly stationary before this. The first thing I thought when I saw the hit was "ah man, he didn't have to do that".

How about use your brain, realize the pucks going in and let up on that hit a bit? Not only did he not let up, he digs in at the last minute to hit harder. Scheifele never looks at the puck or stick. Not once. I swear it's like he's never seen a wrap around EN goal before. He literally looks like he participating in a different game when he makes that hit. It's not that there was an injury. It's that the injury was 100% unnecessary. It's funny because the NHL has long been accused of having a double standard for it's star players.

I would be 100% totally fine if I never saw a hit like this again. And this has nothing to do with being pro or anti hockey violence. When people are dumb, and people get hurt it's a turn-off for me. You obviously have no issue with this. Well, obviously the being dumb part anyway.

Considering all you are arguing are technicalities............ A "technical" charge that badly hurt someone. NHL DOPS are well within their rights to suspend someone for this. Jets must be appealing this eh?

Charging, blindside, player in a vulnerable position. Guys have been suspended on similar plays for clobbering defensemen coming out from behind their net. Guys have been almost murdered on the ice for throwing similar hits. If I tell you you're as cool as Sean Avery will you stop with the nonsense?

So he took an opportunity to try and kill Evans. It's that simple. People need to rethink their idea of what a good hockey play is in this situation. I mean I gotta say that under no circumstances would I condone Leafs' success if the Wings were any good. But since we're living in bizzaro world in general right now and the Wings are barely a hockey team, I'd be OK with the Leafs winning.

I don't know if the pandemic has turned me into some sort of loving empath or what but I'd be totally cool with the Leafs winning the cup this year. Toronto's been through some real s***.

That's right laugh. The 5'10 Leaf kid is killing the s*** out of penalties. Those are hard minutes. The 6'3" kid who's good at cross overs and can skate really fast isn't. I'd bet his hockey IQ is mid-low.
